What the Bible says about light and seed

The True Light "In him, (the Lord Jesus) was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world,…the world didn’t recognize him." John 1:4,9.

The Good Seed and the Weeds “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seeds in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. Matthew 13:24,25.

Obama Is The King God Has Given To Reign Over America In The Last Days

Obama Is The King God Has Given To Reign Over America In The Last Days
"And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them...Now therefore hearken unto their voice...and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them." 1 Samuel 8
God sets up kings, and takes them down
The bible clearly teaches that it is God and not man who appoints rulers over the affairs of men:
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." Romans 13:1
All through the bible we see God set up kings for a purpose, and take them down for a purpose. Sometimes God raises up a ruler to bless His people, like He did with King David. And sometimes He sets up a ruler by whom the people will be judged, as He did with Saul. But God does not only set up kings over His own people, He sets up kings over all people. Such was the case with Pharaoh of Egypt:
"For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth." Romans 9:17
The story of Pharaoh and the Red Sea
Now, the story of Pharaoh and the people of Egypt is a great story because for a long, long time Egypt prospered under the rule of Pharaoh like no nation on earth ever had before them. They were the America of the ancient world. Egypt grew in size and wealth and in might and in power till no other nation could stand against them.
Jesus said that the end would come as it did in the 'days of Lot' where perversion was glorified and God's word rejected. This is our day...
Just taking a casual glance on the outside of Egypt you would think that they had God's blessing, but they did not. Egypt was a wicked, godless nation who enslaved the Jews for four centuries, and made human sacrifices to their gods. And after 400 long years of oppressing God's chosen people, God's patience and long-suffering had come to an end.
So God raised up Moses...
"And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations." Exodus 3:15
We all know the story of how God called Moses to be the leader of the Jews. To lead them first out of the land of Egypt, and then into the land of Promise - Israel! Moses obeyed God and went and confronted Pharaoh and preached to him what God told him to say. Now, when God commissioned Moses to preach to Pharaoh, He knew full well that Pharaoh would ultimately reject what Moses would tell him. But just as God raised up Moses to preach, God also raised up Pharaoh to be preached to.
"And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt." Exodus 11:9
...and God raises up Pharaoh
Now God had also raised up Pharaoh to be a mighty king. But Pharaoh's heart was wicked and would not obey the servant of the Lord. So there came a day, when God was about to free the Jews from slavery, that God also used Pharaoh for a mighty purpose. God, knowing that Pharaoh would never repent though he was given multiple opportunities to, used him and Moses to show the world the power of the God of Abraham. But this demonstration of power would have markedly and drastically outcomes.
"And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen." Exodus 14:17
God used Moses in a glorious way, replete with the miracle of the parting of the Red Sea. God used Pharaoh as part of the miracle of the Red Sea. In Moses He showed His power and glory by settings the Jews free in a way that would be retold throughout time for all eternity. In Pharaoh God showed His power and glory by drowning Pharaoh and his entire army when the walls of water came crashing back down. Both men raised up by God, both men put into their position of authority by God, with one man winding up in Heaven, and the other still burning in Hell.
"And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them." Exodus 14:27,28
What's the take-away here? That God judged an entire nation for the wickedness of one man who refused to repent. Remember that.
America begins by trusting the Holy God of Israel
America, for every year since 1776, has do nothing but grow in might, in power and in strength and in wealth. We are, as many of us are fond of saying, the "greatest nation on the face of the earth." We got our start with the Puritans who can over at the leading of God, and set up a brave, new nation. The first text book ever used in our schools and universities was the Holy Bible. James Madison said this:
""We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all of our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind of self-government; upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God." - James Madison
Wow, what a great start! A nation founded on submission to God and His commandments. But the story doesn't end there..
As we grew as a nation, we became mighty like to no other nation to ever exist. And as we grew, we began to forget. We forgot that God had created us, had sustained us, had done such mighty deeds and demonstrations of His power to bless America. We sing "God Bless America", our money says "In God We Trust", but somewhere along the line we stopped trusting. We stopped seeking His face. We began to trust in our own strength.
God is removed, chaos ensues
World War II was the last time that the whole world was at war, and it was a war that we almost didn't win. My father, Robert Grider, 2nd Lt. United States Air Force, Retired, used to tell me that "they will never teach in history class just how close we came to losing that war." But we didn't lose, we won. And after we won the war we did something God really liked. We recognized the right for the just-reborn baby nation of Israel to exist on May 14, 1948, and long-awaited bible prophecy was fulfilled in the rebirth of Israel. But in the very next generation we did something very, very bad. We turned away from God.
The 1960's saw the removal of prayer from the public schools, the removal of the Ten Commandments from our court houses, sexual promiscuity, open homosexual abominations, and the rise of legal baby killing through abortion. The result of that was a drastic increase in violent crime, race riots in the streets, an entire generation of children hooked on drugs and alcohol, skyrocketing divorce rates, and public schools that needed armed police to keep order. We told God to go, and He did.
The harvest of bitter fruit
The Sixties were a long time ago, but the rotten seeds that were planted in that generation have come to full fruition in ours. In 2012 America, God's name is still plastered all over everything, we have mega-churches with 20,000 in attendance but His Spirit and power are no longer there. We hold a National Day of Prayer, but it is powerless. Nothing changes. We have no final authority, the absolute Truth that guided and sustained the Puritans is something we know nothing of as a nation.
In 2013, we are a nation that is drowning in a debt so large that the numbers, nearly 20 trillion now, have no meaning. Each year nearly 400,000 babies are executed for convenience's sake, and we elect leaders based on their not taking the ability to kill babies away from us. We have no respect for God's word, Sunday is treated like any other day of the week. Even if we believe it, we dare not speak out loud that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven as the bible declares Him to be. We have lost the ability to discern between good and evil. We expose children to endless ads for alcohol and tobacco. Our society is saturated in sex and violent imagery. Nearly half of all the movies made in the last 10 years have a demonic theme to them. We wouldn't know God if He showed up in any of our churches, and neither would we want Him to be there.
We are the American generation that has filled the cup of God's indignation and wrath. So He gave us the king we deserved.
He gave us Barack Hussein Obama.
America gets a king
Barack Obama, 44th president of the United States of America. He is so enthusiastically in favor a sacrificing babies on the altar of Planned Parenthood that when he was a state senator he voted 3 times against the "Born-Alive Infants Protection Act". The bill recognized babies born after attempted abortions as persons and required doctors to give them care.' Obama voted to withhold that care. 3 times. Under his recently-passed Obamacare bill, abortion is now taxpayer-funded. That means that all America shares in the killing of these babies, their blood is upon all of us.
Like no other president before him...
Obama was raised a Muslim and, though he has said he has since become a "christian", nothing he says or does is in line with a profession of faith in Christ. He rarely, if ever attends church. He glorifies homosexuality and all manners of sexual perversion, and in the process has used his office of president to mandate the forced acceptance of homosexuality on our society. Newsweek magazine called him the "first gay president". He is the first American president to openly back and endorse gay marriage, and again use the office of president to make that desire a reality. He proclaimed the entire month of June to be Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Pride Month in America. In fact, he made it a national ordinance:
"NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2012 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. I call upon the people of the United States to eliminate prejudice everywhere it exists, and to celebrate the great diversity of the American people." Newsweek quote.
Barack Obama stands openly for the things that God is against. He takes great pride is doing so. He campaigned with these things as the reasons why you should vote for him and re-elect him to the office of president. The first time he ran for president he was largely an unknown entity, and he used great guile and deceit to become elected. But when we all went to the polls this week to again decide to vote him in or not, he was a very well-known candidate.
We didn't vote with ballots so much as we voted with our hearts, with our passions, and with our national vision of who America shall be for the next four years. We have said with our votes that the likes and passions of Barack Hussein Obama are the likes and passions of the America people. Obama is for abortion, we are for abortion. Obama is for gay marriage, we are for gay marriage. Obama is for glorifying sexual perversion, we are for glorifying sexual perversion. And the endless list goes on.
We voted him in because he is the manifestation of what is inside our hearts as a nation. He is the embodiment of our spiritual dysfunction, the living, breathing representation of our disdain for the commandments of the Holy God of Israel. Obama is anti-Christ, and we love it. Obama openly mocks the God of the bible by his love for Islam, and we stand and cheer him till our throats go hoarse. We have told God that we will no longer follow His ways nor submit to His commandments, and God has given us a king to rule over us to fulfill that desire. We have desired evil and refused the good so that now God has given us over to a reprobate mind.
"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." Romans 1
America is judged
As a nation, we have been given over to judgment, to uncleanness, to, as the bible says, a 'reprobate mind'. We cannot repent because we don't think we have done anything wrong. We see ourselves as progressive, open-minded, non-judgmental and all-inclusive, and not as wicked, vile, sinful and rebellious against God as His word says we are. We have changed the Truth of God into the lie of the Devil, and God has given us a king to rule over us who will make sure we cannot find our way back.
Barack Hussein Obama is God's judgment on America for our sins, and it is a judgment from which I don't think we shall ever recover. Right up to the very moment he and all his men drowned in the red Sea, Pharaoh was sure of his victory. He was deluded unto death, as is Obama as he leads us. But it is not too late for you, as an individual, to throw off the yoke of this oppression and throw yourself upon God's mercy:
"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." Revelation 18:4
Jesus said the end would come as it did in the "days of Noah". You can see the Ark in front of you, and you can almost feel that first raindrop begin to fall. In your heart you know what's coming. I beg you to run into the Ark of Safety, and don't look behind you as America crumbles into the dust. The last days are here, judgment slumbereth not.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
