The Silent Moments of our Life in Christ.
Written and published by Jean-Louis
There are moments in our journey when we feel like we've poured our heart into a message—crafted with care, bathed in prayer, filled with sincerity—and then… silence.
No comment, no echo, no response.
As if we had cast our words into the vast ocean and they sank without a ripple.
I had one of those moments recently. I posted a reflection, something deeply personal, full of hope that it would resonate, bless, or at least speak to someone in need. But nothing came back. Not a single voice to say “I heard you."
And then, I realized something: that this silence is not a failure, nor is it a void. It is a sacred space. A space where obedience speaks louder than applause.
Maybe the words were meant for one person—and maybe that person read it at 2 a.m. on a night when they needed a lifeline.
Or maybe God simply asked me to write it as an act of worship, a seed cast into the soil, trusting that He knows where it will grow.
I’m writing this post for fellow blog writers, for poets, for quiet prophets whose voices may feel unheard.
Keep writing. Keep sowing. Keep trusting.
For the Word never returns void. And neither will yours, if you write with love, truth, and the desire to honor the One who gave you your voice.
