What the Bible says about light and seed

The True Light "In him, (the Lord Jesus) was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world,…the world didn’t recognize him." John 1:4,9.

The Good Seed and the Weeds “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seeds in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. Matthew 13:24,25.

Brazil continues to snub request to appoint Dani Dayan envoy

Israel approved the former Yesha Council chairman's appointment two months ago, so why has Brazil yet to reply to an official request?

By Cynthia Blank

Brasilia has yet to reply or approve the official Israeli request, Army Radio reported Sunday morning.
While Jerusalem hopes the Brazilian government will approve the appointment and that the delay is only technical, concern has spread within the Foreign Ministry that the Brazilians do not plan to respond to the request, effectively quashing the appointment.

Immediately after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced his intentions to appoint the former Yesha Council chairman to the post last August, opposition from the Left surfaced.

Three former Israeli ambassadors even approached the government of Brazil, through the Brazilian ambassadors in Israel and the Palestinian Authority, demanding that Brasilia reject Dayan's appointment.

According to the former envoys, Brazil allowing Dayan to serve as Israeli ambassador in its territory would give international legitimacy to the "settlement enterprise" in Judea and Samaria.

Netanyahu reportedly handpicked Dayan for ambassador because of his direct connection to the region, having been born in Argentina. Dayan initially refused the position, but relented after pleas from the Prime Minister and his associates.

The Prime Minister's Office responded to the Army Radio report, saying: "Israel-Brazil relations are important and we hope to get a positive reply soon."

It should be noted that according to diplomatic protocol, a country may refuse a certain ambassador from another country but it is a highly unusual move that occurs only rarely.

Russia brings over heavy T-90 tanks to boost three Syrian warfronts

Reblpgged from debka.com
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report December 6, 2015, 12:03 PM (IDT)
On Wednesday, Dec. 2, Russia started transferring dozens of advanced T-90 tanks to Syria, debkafile’s military and intelligence sources report. They were moved immediately to two Syrian army fronts fighting rebel forces at the two most important cities, Aleppo and Damascus, and are expected to be sent to beef up the combined Syria, Iranian, Hizballah army poised to recover Palmyra from the Islamic State.

The shipment to the capital was delivered into the hands of the 4th armored division, Syria’s republican guard commanded by Gen. Ali Maher Assad, the younger brother of President Bashar Assad.

The attack on Palmyra in country infested by ISIS forces was scheduled to have begun two weeks ago but was delayed for the arrival of the heavy Russian tanks, among other reasons.

The T-90 weighs 46.5 tons and has a range of 375 kilometers, with an average speed of 45 km per hour under battle conditions or 65 km per hour on roads. It has three layers of defensive systems: composite armor plates on the turret; Kontact-5 third-generation explosive reactive armor on its front, sides, and turret that reduces penetration by kinetic energy bombs; and the “Shtora,” or curtain, an electro-optical active protection system that enables the tank to jam the systems of antitank missiles.
The T-90 also has 12 smoke mortars, a 125 mm cannon and AT-11 Sniper guided antitank missiles. The tank has proven itself in battle in recent years in Russia’s wars in Georgia and Chechnya against forces not unlike the Syrian rebels.

Until last week, Russia kept only a few T-90 tanks in Syria, mainly to protect its military bases around Latakia.
The new shipment, say Western military sources which are monitoring Russian movements, will eventually replace a large part of the Syrian army’s fleet of around 500 operational tanks, mostly T-72s - at least half of which are positioned to defend the capital.
But the pace of delivery will be dictated above all by the time needed for Russian instructors to retrain Syrian tank crews from scratch in the use of T-90s in battle conditions.

It should be noted meanwhile that, while the Syrian rebels have antitank missiles able to take out the T-72, they do not have advanced missiles capable of stopping the much heavier, reactively armed T-90. But  the Islamic State does, having captured US-made antitank missiles from the Iraqi armored divisions put to flight in June 2014. Some of those advanced missiles may be presumed to have been passed to ISIS forces in Syria.

For now, the Russian general staff shows no sign of preparing for a wide-scale operation against ISIS in Syria, so the newly-delivered T-90s are not immediately threatened from that quarter.

As far as Israel is concerned, the main worry is that Russian instructors will also be assigned to train Iranian and Hizballah tank crews in the use of the advanced T-90. Once they get hold of these tanks, they will be able to attain their objective of beefing up the Iranian-Hizballah front against Israeli defenses from southern Syria and the Syrian Golan.

Israeli finds cause for concern in the constant expansion of the Russian military presence and involvement in Syria. Preparations for a very long stay are signified by new developments every few days. A permanent Russian military presence in Syria would give Iran and Hizballah cover for a standing military buildup in Syria. This would confront Israel’s vital strategic interests with a major challenge.

Until Obama Gets the Guns, False Flag Attacks Are Now Part of American Daily Life

Reblogged from
CSS Offical-New-Logo2

whitehouse terrorism
The numbers do not lie, false flag mass murder events are exponentially increasing under Obama. First, it was a case of “give up your guns” and we will protect you from the mentally ill mass murderers. Now, the Obama mantra consists of “giving up your guns” and we will protect you from ISIS (that we created).

Mass Shootings Under the Last Five Presidents

Mother Jones acquired data, immediately following the most recent mass murder event, and the numbers were related to the totality of mass murders for the last five Presidents. The numbers associated with mass murder and the Obama Presidency are stunning. The numbers simple do not lie.

Ronald Reagan- 1981-1989  11 mass shootings

Incidents with 8 or more deaths = 5

George H. W. Bush- 1989-1993  12 mass murders

Incidents with 8 or more deaths = 3

Bill Clinton-
 1993-2001  23 mass murders

Incidents with 8 or more deaths = 4

George W. Bush- 2001-2009  20 mass murders

Incidents with 8 or more deaths = 5

Obama- 2009-2015 (< 7 years) 162 mass murders

Incidents with 8 or more deaths = 18

Statistical Analysis

The numbers do not lie with regard to the number of mass murders that have taken place under Obama vs. the four Presidents that have come before him.
President                        Average Number of Mass Murders Per Month
  1. Obama                           23+  per year or almost 2 per month
  2. GHW Bush                   3.0  per year
  3. Clinton                           2.875 per year
  4. GW Bush                       2.5 per year
  5. Ronald Reagan           1.375 per year
An American citizen is nearly 8 (7.666) times more likely to be killed in a mass murder event under the current President than the previous four Presidents.
During the incomplete tenure of the Obama administration, there have a total of 163 murders in less than 7 years. During the previous tenure of the last 4 Presidents, 66 total mass murder events. These 66 mass murders took place in 28 Presidential years. When one takes this perspective, an American is 10 times more likely to be killed in a mass murder event under Obama than the four previous Presidents.
If Obama’s mass murder statistics were only limited to one year, we might safely conclude that we are merely witnessing a statistical anomolie. However, as Obama approaches his 7th year in office and see such a dramatic uptick in mass murder events under his watch, we no longer have an anomolie, we have a clear and undeniable pattern. We desperately need to be asking why?
It is an undeniable fact that every time there is an active shooter event, Obama turns up the propaganda about how his is going to be forced to use executive action (Executive Order) in order to separate most Americans from their Second Amendment rights to own a firearm.
As we approach the inevitable, World War III, there is a desperate need to put America into a type of undeclared martial law in order to control the people before they become the cannon fodder for the very next banker war for profit.

In the Beginning

When mass murders increased under the Obama administration, the reason most cited was mental illness. The Virginia Tech event and the “alleged” Sandy Hook event are cases in point in which the alleged shooter was on psychotropic medication for mental illness. Very quickly, this administration quickly moved to take as many guns as they could from veterans citing reasons related to PTSD diagnoses. This move made a lot of sense when one realizes that veterans would form the backbone of any resistance movement against the coming martial law tyranny which will precede World War III.
The Obama administration is now attempting to perpetrate a new fraud on the US. Instead of the mentally ill engaging in acts of mass murder, it is now ISIS that is threat. Why the shift? Because the emphasis of the Obama administration has shifted from gun confiscation from the veterans, to including gun confiscation for the entire population. History speaks very clearly as to what lies next.

Your Radiation This Week No 33

Reblogged from veteranstoday.com
November 28 to December 5, 2015

(San Francisco) Dec 5, 2015 – Good Day, this is “Your Radiation This Week.” These are the recorded Radiation Highs that affected people this week around the United States. You should compare the Rad numbers directly with the Rad numbers in with my articles listed on the VT Author’s Page here: http://www.veteranstoday.com/author/bobnichols/  or below.

It is also linked to my name at the top on every article.

 RADIATION CPM* COMPARISON CITY STATE

*Listed in Counts per Minute, a Count is One Radioactive Decay Registered by the Instrument.

All Radiation Counts reported are partial Counts. Uncounted types of radiation include Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Neutron and X-Ray radiation.  Uncounted radiation, if added, makes the actual Count higher and more dangerous.
The highest radiation reporting city is listed first, the least radioactive city reporting is listed last. Still, all reporting cities are above normal. These are the American cities that exceeded 1,000 CPM this week.

I just could not overlook Washington, DC at 235 CPM subtotal Gamma and Beta for a low; and 500 CPM subtotal Gamma and Beta for a High Rad reading. This is not even a low for the District. The low Gamma only reading was 80 CPM.

The benefits of living in Washington, DC are never ending and far surpass those of Normal men and women living in other cities, towns and metropolitan areas – even New York. NY City had a 785 CPM High this week.

Normal Radiation is 5 to 20 CPM. [6]

Highest Recorded Radioactive City in America this week

Spokane, Washington is the No 1 Radioactive City in America this week! Congrats to Spokane! Miami, Florida and Bakersfield, California are close behind in the CPM race to the end.
Thirty-eight (38) American cities exceeded 1,000 CPM this week; that’s up 6 cities since last week – YRTW No 32. Another eleven (11) cities are clustered between 900 and 999 CPM. Stay Alert and take all appropriate precautions. The most prevalent isotope, Cesium 137, takes a daunting 600 years to decay to infinitesimal levels and it is not even particularly long-lived radiation. The Cesium will remain for 600 years.

 Question: ARE WE UNDER ATTACK?

Wondering in USA  November 17, 2015 at 12:00 pm
Hi Bob, You keep referring to “Pulse” events like the September Midwest event and now this week in Denver. Are we under attack? Where is this coming from and who do you think is responsible? Please don’t be shy Bob, thousands of people trust and follow your column, and I get the feeling that you know a lot more than you are telling us.
Thanks for what you do Bob,
Answer: Yes, we are under attack with the ultimate nuclear Terror Weapon. That is my answer.

Never before in history has a population – any Population – been attacked so by Radiation Weapons like this. We know that because the amount of isotopic energy involved in each attack is massive. Seems little doubt that the weapons are energy weapons. For one, the United States Navy has been hard at work on energy weapons for 6o years, since the days of big nuclear bomb detonations around the world.

Three cities – Billings, Denver and Colorado Springs – have been hit with massive pulses of radiation. After the attacks, the Rad rolled through the unprotected countryside and right through the unaware residents for hundreds of miles. The people were not warned and had not a clue what hit them when the heart attacks and strokes started.

Which city will be next? I have no way of detecting it or knowing about it till after the Rad strikes. These attacks were launched without warning or any prior indications to civilians. The attacks are launched seemingly At Will and without restraint.
The most common Rad effects are Heart Attacks and Strokes. Know anybody who has unexpectedly dropped dead of a Heart Attack recently? Say “Hello” to Rad as a weapon.

My own opinion is I suspect that the purposeful, daily open air Venting of American, European and Asian reactors by their owners; and, foreign wars using nuclear weapons combined to play a role in the American attacks. The reactors and venting go together as a pair – countries cannot have one without the other. That is just the way it is; the way reactors work.

The American war against the Jews

Reposted from carolineglick.com
hate on campus
The foundations of American Jewish life are under assault today in ways that were unimaginable a generation ago. Academia is ground zero of the onslaught. The protest movements on campuses are first and foremost anti-Jewish movements.

For the past decade or so, years, jewish communal leaders and activists have focused on just one aspect of this anti-Jewish campaign. Jewish leaders have devoted themselves to helping Jewish students combat the direct anti-Semitism inherent to the anti-Israel student movements.

Despite the substantial funds that have been devoted to fighting anti-Israel forces on campuses, they have not been diminished. To the contrary, with each passing year they have grown more powerful and menacing.

Consider a sampling of the anti-Jewish incidents that took place over the past two weeks.

Two weeks ago, Daniel Bernstein, a Jewish student at University of California Santa Cruz and a member of the university’s student government was ordered not to vote on a resolution calling for the university to divest from four companies which do business with Israel.

Bernstein represents UCSC’s Stevenson College at the university student government. He is also vice president of his college’s Jewish Student Union. Ahead of the anti-Israel vote, Bernstein received a message from a member of his college’s student council ordering him to abstain from the vote on Israel divestment.

The student council, Bernstein was informed, had determined that he was motivated by “a Jewish agenda,” and therefore couldn’t be trusted to view the resolution fairly.

In the same message, Bernstein’s correspondent gave him a friendly “heads up” that his fellow students are considering removing him from office because he is a Jew supported by the Jewish community.

To his credit, Bernstein ignored his orders. He voted to oppose the anti-Israel resolution.

Following the incident Bernstein published a statement decrying the anti-Jewish discrimination and hatred now rampant on his campus.

Among other things, he wrote, “I wish that [my]] being subjected to anti-Semitism was a shocking new occurrence. But the truth is that I’m not shocked. I’m not shocked because this hatred and ignorance has followed me everywhere. I’m not shocked because Jewish students have been targeted with this vile racism all over the [University of California] UC system for years, and especially since BDS became a major issue of discussion. Anti-Semitism…has…become an inseparable part of campus politics right here at UC Santa Cruz and across the UC system.”

Then there is the growing movement of professional associations that boycott Israel.

Last week the National Women’s Studies Association passed a resolution to join the BDS movement. The resolution, written in turgid, incomprehensible prose, proclaimed that the only state in the Middle East that provides full and equal rights to women is so evil that it must be singled out and boycotted, sanctioned and divested from.

Whereas Bernstein was personally targeted, and the NWSA criminalizes Israel, at CUNY, on November 12, a group of protesters targeted the Jewish community as a whole.

That day, as part of a national “million student march,” where students demanded free tuition, anti-Jewish students at CUNY rallied at Hunter college and introduced a new demand: the expulsion of all Israel supporters from campus.

Congregating in the center of the campus, some fifty students chanted in unison, “Zionists out of CUNY!”

Aside from an anodyne statement in favor of “freedom of expression,” CUNY administrators had nothing to say about the affair.

For their part, Hunter’s administrators issued a statement “condemning the anti-Semitic comments,” made by the rally participants.

But no disciplinary measures were taken against any of them.

Speaking to the Algemeiner, StandWithUs’s Northeast Regional Director Shahar Azani said that the Hunter incident “is another example of the hijacking of various social causes by the anti-Israel movement.”

In making this claim, Azani was merely repeating the position taken by Jewish communal leaders and activists involved in the fight to defend Jews and Israel on university campuses. Unfortunately, this position is incorrect.

According to the prevailing wisdom guiding Jewish communal responses to the onslaught against Jewish students on campuses, the anti-Israel and anti-Jewish movements are distinct from the wider anti-liberal forces now disrupting campus life throughout the US. As Jewish leaders see things, there is no inherent connection between the protesters embracing victimhood and demanding constraints on freedom of expression, inquiry, and assembly, (and free tuition), and those who seek to drive Jews out of the public sphere on college campuses.

In other words, they believe that Zionists can be crybullies too.

But they can’t.

The crybully movement, which demands that universities constrain freedom to cater to victim groups, is necessarily hostile to Jews. This is the reason that at the same time that “victims” from blacks to transgenders are coddled and caressed, Jews have emerged as the only group that is not protected. Indeed, the BDS movement requires universities to discriminate against Jewish students.

The inherent conflict between the tenets of the “progressive,” movement and Jewish rights is exposed in a guide to racial “microaggressions” published earlier this year by the University of California. Students and faculty must avoid committing these “microagressions” if they want to stay on the right side of campus authorities and the law.

The UC defines “microagressions” as, “brief, subtle verbal or non-verbal exchanges that send denigrating messages to the recipient because of his or her group membership (such as race, gender, age or socio-economic status).”

Transgressors can expect to be accused of engendering a “hostile learning environment,” an act that can get you expelled, fired and subjected to criminal probes.

As law professor Eugene Voloch reported in the Washington Post last June, among other things, the list of offenses includes embracing merit as a means of advancing in society. A statement along the lines of “I believe the most qualified person should get the job,” can destroy a person’s academic career.

So too, statements rejecting race as a significant factor in judging a person’s competence are now deemed racist. For instance statements to the effect of, “There is only one race, the human race,” “America is a melting pot,” or “I don’t believe in race,” can land a student or instructor in hot water.

In a column last week, Dennis Prager noted that the list castigates as racism all the pillars of liberal society in America. The list, he wrote, shows that “the American university is now closer to fascism than to traditional liberty.”

Prager is right, of course. But the fascist takeover of American academia will not affect all Americans equally.

Jews are the greatest victims of this state of affairs.

For the better part of the past hundred years, the upward mobility of American Jewry has been directly correlated with America’s embrace of meritocratic values. The more Americans have looked past race and ethnicity and judged people by their talents, characters and professional competence, the higher Jews have risen. Conversely, where qualities other than competence, talent and professionalism have determined social and professional status, Jews have suffered. They have faced discrimination and their opportunities to advance have been limited.

Academia is but a small component of American society. But to earn a place in America’s middle, upper-middle and upper classes, you need at least an undergraduate degree. Moreover, university graduates go on to populate and head the state and federal governing bureaucracies, the business world, the entertainment sector and every other major area of human endeavor in American society.

Academia’s simultaneous rejection of core liberal principles and legitimization of anti-Semitic forces is not a coincidence. Jews are a constant reminder that human agency – rather than race and other group identities — has everything to do with a person’s ability to excel in academics and beyond. For fascist principles to hold, Jews must be demonized and hated.

The intrinsic link between anti-Semitism and fascism and their simultaneous embrace by a key American institution means is that the equal rights and freedoms of Jews are far more threatened in America today than most Jewish leaders and activists have realized. The Jewish community’s failure to date to successfully defeat the anti-Semitic forces on campuses owes at least in part to its failure recognize or contend with the dual nature of the problem.

As Putin Becomes One of World’s Most Powerful Players, His Surprising Jewish Connection is Revealed

Reblogged from breakingisraelnews.com
By
In the long history of Jews in Russia, the government has rarely been an ally, and often been the source of persecution. Current Russian president Vladimir Putin, however, is a powerful exception, with Jews playing a significant role in his personal history and his inner circle.  With the Russian army a major player in the potentially explosive multi-national puzzle unfolding in Syria, this personal element could become an important, perhaps decisive, factor in how the conflict unfolds.

At the International Assembly of Chabad Representatives in 2007, Russia’s Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Berel Lazar, often referred to as “Putin’s Rabbi”, told a remarkable story about the Russian leader, which he heard from Putin himself.

“When he was a young child, he grew up in a very poor family. His parents were always out at work. He was fortunate that the next door neighbor was a Hasidic Jewish family, and they always made sure to invite him over,” Lazar explained. “They were extremely kind to him, and he realized that not only were they kind to a child that wasn’t theirs, not only were they kind to a child that wasn’t Jewish, but they were kind to a child in a time and place when it was dangerous to do that.”

“Thirty years later, because of the gratitude he felt for that family, and for the respect he felt for the Jewish people as a whole, as deputy mayor of the city of Leningrad, he granted official permission to open the first Jewish school in the city.”
The family in Lazar’s story was that of Anatoly Rakhlin, Putin’s high-school wrestling coach, a man he considered to be a father-figure and at whose funeral he cried. Putin described the family in his autobiography, First Person.

“(They were) observant Jews who did not work on Saturdays, and the man would study the Bible and Talmud all day long,” he wrote. “Once I even asked him what he was muttering. He explained to me what this book was and I was immediately interested.”
Putin’s Jewish connection was not an anomaly limited to his childhood memories. In 2005, when Putin made an official visit to Israel, he visited his high-school teacher, Mina Yuditskaya Berliner, who lived in Tel Aviv. He even bought her an apartment in the city when he heard she was living in poor conditions.

Arkadi and Boris Rotenberg were his judo sparring partners under Coach Rakhlin, and remain his close friends to this day. The Rotenberg’s are billionaire contractors, and the relationship is mutually beneficial, with the Rotenberg brothers getting government contracts worth many billions of dollars.
In fact, Putin has surrounded himself with rich and successful Jews, such as Moshe Kantor (net worth $2.3 billion), Lev Leviev (net worth $1.5 billion), Roman Abramovich (net worth $9.1 billion) and Victor Vekselberg (net worth $13.6 billion). They are all close friends and confidantes of the Russian president, and they are all quite openly Jewish.

On the Jewish New Year, celebrated in September, Putin sent a holiday greeting to Rabbi Lazar, wishing the Russian Jewish community a “sweet and happy New Year.”
“For centuries, Jewish values inspired lofty ideals,” Putin wrote. He said that these values enhanced “relations among different peoples…through charity and education, all in the interest of the public good.” In a direct manner, he pledged “fierce opposition to any manifestation of anti-Semitism and xenophobia.”

Putin puts his money where his mouth is and donated a month of his salary as president to the Jewish Museum in Moscow. His name is proudly listed on the museum wall as a donor.
Perhaps due to his connection with Jews on a personal level, Putin can be said to view Russian Jews as first and foremost good Russian citizens. This has already had international repercussions. When Putin met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in September to discuss the developing situation in Syria, the meeting produced positive results, with Putin expressing his strong connection with Israel.

“We never forget that in the State of Israel reside many former Soviet citizens, and that has a special implication on the relationship between our two states,” Putin stated. “Every Russian action in the area has always been very responsible. We are aware of the artillery against Israel and we condemn it. “

In 2011, at the  Euro-Asian Jewish Congress in Moscow, Putin said, “Israel is, in fact, a special state to us. It is practically a Russian-speaking country. Israel is one of the few foreign countries that can be called Russian-speaking. It’s apparent that more than half of the population speaks Russian.”

In 2014, Putin was one of the few political leaders who supported Israel’s Operation Protective Edge, saying at a meeting with representatives of the Rabbinical Center of Europe to fight anti-Semitism and xenophobia, “I support Israel’s battle that is intended to keep its citizens protected.”

Putin is a powerful player in the explosive situation in the Middle East.
