What the Bible says about light and seed
The True Light "In him, (the Lord Jesus) was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world,…the world didn’t recognize him." John 1:4,9.
The Good Seed and the Weeds “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seeds in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away.” Matthew 13:24,25.
The Good Seed and the Weeds “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seeds in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away.” Matthew 13:24,25.

What is so wise about a serpent?
Reposted from servehiminthewaiting.com
To be harmless as doves. Harmless means honest, sincere, without guile. Stick with truth, and don’t get drawn into debate. Soar above the fray.
Be Sober: Serious, sedate, temperate and subdued, not excessively emotional, not extreme, or fanciful nor fearful. Keep your “spiritual wits” about you.
Be vigilant: keep careful watch for potential danger and difficulty, watchful, awake, alert.
Walk circumspect: circum (around you) spect (mindful, thoughtful, attentive). Don’t get so deep into anything to the exclusion of attentiveness to the bigger picture and what is going on around you. Don’t let down your guard.
Those perilous times are upon us. It is not just what we see happening on our streets, and in the news. There is an intentional stirring up of conflict and “precision strikes” being made upon our specific individual vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
It doesn’t get easier from here. Hold on for dear life, trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in everything. If you are a stay-at-home Mom, acknowledge Him in your mothering, your “mundane” tasks of laundry, dishes, refereeing, shuttling. If you are a businessman, acknowledge Him in your business. If you are disabled, acknowledge Him in what He has allowed because He is wise and has a purpose in it. If you are struggling and feel powerless, know that He allows it for the purpose of helping you rely on Him. We don’t do it on our own, we pretty much have to be forced a lot of the time.
If you are prone to depression, be proactive in counter-acting negative thoughts and replacing them with scripture and thankfulness. If you are sick and the medical bills are piling up, you can still be thankful if you have insurance that pays some of it, or for friends who care, or for the fact you are not as sick as you could have been.
If you are a pastor discouraged in your ministry, you can still rejoice in your own salvation and the knowledge that our redemption is near.
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness ( both refer to sexual promiscuity) not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.
This weekend in our family, there was a lot of strife, contention, emotion, a lot of misunderstanding. Satan is really good at that, but we have to be mindful of the fact he is always right there ready to exploit every emotion and sore spot and weakness. We are feeling the evil move in, making it personal. We are seeing the evil day come to hand. It is going to be important to call on the Lord at all times and in all things, and when we let our flesh get the better of us, to repent right away, and not let anything fester. If we hurt or offend, we need to own up and apologize, make restitution where possible.
I imagine you have noticed the same thing in your own household, or work environment, or church, even. We should not be surprised and we can’t afford to fall for it. Our battle is not with flesh and blood. Yet we very often take it out on flesh and blood, causing injury and offense.
It occurred to me that this time as we are at the final moments, is a lot like when a woman goes through pregnancy, which for many of us, is pretty miserable for nine months, and yet when the term is up, you then have to “walk through fire” of labor and delivery to be done with it. There is no other exit. Can’t turn around, can’t take a detour or easier option. Many women have been known to say “I can’t do it” when the absolute fact is that she will, she must and therefore, she can, she just doesn’t “feel” like she can. It can be grueling and we have to accept that and prepare as best we can, and place our trust in what we have learned and done, and in the people alongside us who are there to help us get through it. Don’t trust your feelings. Don’t trust your doubts. Don’t trust even necessarily your own eyes. This is peak deception time.
I personally have many moments when I feel like I can’t face or endure something to get to the other side of this, to redemption, to release. But now is not a time for giving up. See it through, faithful to the end, not perfect, not sinless, but repentant, humble, determined, leaning on the Lord, pressing into Him, knowing He is the stronger one in the yoke, and will not let us stumble and fall, but will enable us to go on as long as we are willing and as long as we desire to be obedient and to serve Him in whatever our situation or circumstances are.
It is like that time on the airplane when there is an emergency situation, and we are supposed to help the children and elderly and otherwise helpless, but we only can do that if we put on our own oxygen mask first. There comes a time when it is the real deal, that the flight attendants must necessarily cease to assist others and strap themselves in.
It is not selfishness, it is a matter of navigating the turbulence we are now firmly in the midst of. It is a time to keep short accounts and encourage others. It’s the last hour of the night shift when many are just waking up, while some of us have “labored through the night”.
Those are our reinforcements, no our replacements. All leave cancelled for the foreseeable future!
Remain vigilant with intense, unfaltering, wary watchfulness with an attitude of submission to the Holy Spirit to avoid unnecessary frictions, distractions, and sins.
Pray, pray pray. If you don’t have a huge repertoire of scripture memorized, write them on cards and plaster them all through your house or work station, or carry in your pocket and refer to them often.
That old serpent, Satan, is a clever one. He outsmarts us a lot of the time. But when he comes around accusing, harassing, stirring up trouble, we can remind him of Revelation 20, verses 2-3 and 10.
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.“And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”This is the hard part. But it will all be over soon.

Update and original article - Reflection on a train accident
Update. Commentary on the terrorist attack in Nice. It´s on all the news outlets.
This morning at 4:20 AM Brazil time.
The original article´s link: http://lightnseed.blogspot.com.br/2014/03/written-and-posted-by-jean-louis.html
Link to my own testimony of a train ride last summer to Nice French Riviera. http://thelightseed.blogspot.com.br/2016/0/is-he-terrorist-or-not.html
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Early this morning at 4:30 AM Brazil time. I was watching the latest
news on the French, British and Spanish TV when I landed in the middle of an
interview with a French economist who
was commenting on the way governments recommend and encourage growing the economy through unlimited consumption of goods
and services.
He mentioned that new
products are being invented all the time faster than ever and made a relevant observation pointing at the way governments advise their
population should behave after a terrorist
attack. (I am just surmising here since I came in the middle of the interview that was part of a wider
analysis on the runaway consumerism and its deleterious effects on the well
being of mankind).
My point here is not to
take sides and make a political statement. I am simply observing the facts on
the ground from a biblical perspective.
It is at this point that
the economist said something very accurate, true and insightful when reflecting
on the “destiny” of mankind, he compared
the driven excessive, unnecessary insatiable, compulsion of buying new things,
gadgets, entertainment, etc to “ a
runaway unstoppable “bolide”(his word) such as bullet train crashing into a wall
or plunging headlong into a precipice. (Accurate translation from memory of
what I could retain.)
These words instantly
took me back to an article and subsequent updates I wrote a few years ago.
In light of the last few train crashes, the most recent taking place in Italy just a few
days ago, this time it was a head on collision of two high speed trains on one single
railroad track in dire need of upgrading since the 1960s. Again, it was caused
by human error.
Here we have a valuable
lesson to learn and turn to the One who has and is the solution to our deep
needs to find answers to the problems that plague mankind, namely the Lord
Jesus Christ.
I think it is more relevant than ever to pause
and reflect on the problems and the causes of these avoidable tragedies
especially in the light of the latest terrorist attack in Nice on the French
Riviera and the response of a perplexed government and population. The
political leaders reaction subsequent security measures in
Europe are very similar to the ones taken on the aftermath of 911:
Maximum alert, state of emergency
equivalent to martial law extension for 3 more months. And of course the slogans
that “we will overcome this crisis and come out stronger because we are united and working together toward
universal peace, love and brother hood and freedom for all. Aren´t these the 3
most important values, legacy of the French revolution? (How ironic that it
happened on the 14th. of July, celebration
anniversary of Bastille day!) And to prove that we will not be intimidated by a
few deranged criminals we will go on living our live as before, spending money we
don´t have on things we don´t need, we
will go out to places of entertainment
and show how strong we are in the face of constant imminent danger of widespread chaos and
utter destruction.
Observe that the last incident in Italy involves 2 runaway
trains filled with people from different ethnic origins crashing into each other
which is pretty illustrative of the present
condition of the migration situation in Europe.
See Here my own testimony of a train ride to Southern France last year. In fact, the high speed train was traveling to Nice where I stayed right near the seafront boulevard where the massacre happened. I was able to capture the atmosphere felt in the car during the trip and the inability to react in a situation among the passengers as if they were paralyzed by fear of retribution from the masters of political correctness that prevents people from taking the preventive measures necessary in such situations. .
I let you draw your own
conclusions. --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reflection on a train accident
Written and published by Jean-Louis.
I posted this for the first time in a truncated version in 1998, then 2 years after President Obama was elected.
2010 - Especially in the last few months since the election of the last US president Mr.Obama, the general state of the world and the great disasters relentlessly battering the earth with an increasing regularity and intensity, a lot of people have the feeling that something momentous is about to happen.
Are we prepared for it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
About 12 years ago, a train crash in Germany got my attention. And reading again of at least two train crashes that happened within a few weeks, I thought it might be a good time to post my thoughts about the inescapability of the course of events in our world today. UPDATE: I just finished reading of a new accident that just happened 35 minutes ago in Norway.
The newspaper report of a runaway train in Germany this past week(6/12/98) should cause us to take stock of our lives. The report recounts the crash of a run away train passenger cars that got off the track and crashed at full speed in the cement retaining wall under the bridge of a freeway sending a great number of unaware passengers to their ultimate destination.
Second world's deadliest high speed train accident Source
The Eschede train disaster was the world's deadliest high-speed train
accident. It occurred on June 3, 1998 near the village of Eschede in the
Celle district of Lower Saxony, Germany. The toll of 101 people dead
and 88 (estimated) injured surpassed the 1971 Dahlerau train disaster as
the deadliest accident in the history of the Federal Republic of
Germany. It was caused by a single fatigue crack in one wheel which,
when it finally failed, caused the train to derail at a switch. The intense destruction of the train was due to a collision with a road bridge after the derailment.Looking at the article, several questions on a spiritual parallel level came to mind.
Are we on track with God? Are we walking in the Spirit, in step with the Shepherd leading us, sensitive and receptive to His voice, obedient to His commands, following Him our Head as the passenger cars should follow the locomotive and be running on the same track at the same speed?
Do we let the momentum of our lives cause us to disengage from the path God has chosen for us and is leading us onto? Do we allow the busyness and frenzy of our modern life to drive us into a concrete wall that has the unmovable determination to stay in our way as we come to a crashing halt at an unstoppable speed?
If we read the newspaper account, we will notice that the cause of the crash was not found in the locomotive, neither on the tracks, not even in the cars, neither in the wheels themselves, but in the protective rim of one of the tires. It is also very interesting to note that the defect was found in the very first car behind the locomotive. It should cause us to reflect on the question: Who is at the wheel driving?
The probable cause was either metal fatigue, stress or damage to the protective rim.
The analogy not only applies to individuals, but also to families or entire congregations as the pressures and demands on our lives have a tendency to make us feel out of control and affect all our relationships.
While in college, Christian students were reading the book by Malcon Boyd Are You Running with Me, Jesus? (Holt, Rinehart & Winston, 1965). It became a success. You can read about the way he ran his life in Wikipedia .I am glad I am following Jesus!
It begs the question: Do you think Jesus was following him and running alonside?
In 1961, Stop the world - I want to get off became a success on the New-York theater scene. It related the story of a man´s quest for happiness in the wrong places. Interesting and challenging our preconceptions of what constitutes a life well lived and the pursuit of illusion. Look it up on Google. I saw that play on the same campus.
I was born during WWII , survived the revolutionary/civil/independence war in Algéria, made it barely through the 60s and the following decades in the USA. Finally enjoying retirement, still working with enough time to read, study, observe and reflect while watching with dismay and sadness the world, its events passing in front of my eyes as a observer standing in a field, witnessing a speeding bullet train disappearing in the twilight of its life cycles.
My only consolation is knowing that I and other believers in Jesus are not on that runaway train but firmly planted, rooted, established, growing in our faith by the grace in which we stand.
So, what are we to do?
- We could start by slowing down, pausing and examining our lives to make sure
- that we are on the right track,
- that the spiritual equipment the Lord has provided for us is being maintained and properly used,
- that we are not being driven by our own ambitions, desires, habits or the wrong choices we foolishly make, or
- running the race led by the wrong person.
- Then, following Him, taking our marching orders from our Shepherd King, our Head, Christ whose footsteps determine
- the length and the speed of our stride and
- the times to move on or to stop and rest,
- working with Him in the pasture that He has chosen for us His sheep. A good and appropriate admonition is found in II Peter 3-10.

PS:
Maybe this article from the Washington Post may gives us clues to
understand this modern phenomenon. Would it have anything to do with
stretching the concept of the "pursuit of happiness" to its exhaustive
conclusion? Why being too busy makes us feel so good

Published: March 14
Brigid Schulte is a Washington Post staff writer. This article is adapted from her book “Overwhelmed: Work, Love, and Play When No One Has the Time.
One man says he works 72 hours a week because everyone else at his office does; he’s thinking about cutting back on sleep so he can be more productive. A woman says the last time she had a moment for herself was when she went for her annual mammogram. Another says she has decided that life is too hectic to have kids — ever.

Iran, Nukes, and the End of the World
Reblogged from http://blogos.org/thetakeaway/iran-nuclear.php
By Kersley Fitzgerald

Earlier this year, the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany (known as P5+1) struck a deal with Iran with the aim to provide financial incentives in return for the curtailing or postponing of Iran's nuclear weapons development program. You can read the entire text of the agreement — the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) — here. Alas, I must admit that I did not read it. I didn't trust that I would be able to understand the implications of the specifics or determine the real-world context. For that, I turned to other sources, which you can find here.
The key points of the JCPOA are as follows:
If the entire plotline didn't include terms like "real-world," "Iran," and "nuclear," this would make for a fantastic British comedy. Possibly staring John Cleese. Find a summary here. It's a 30-year story of promises, compromises, broken promises, secrets, politics, broken promises, and an Ayatollah who contradicts everything the government promises.
Here are some of my favorite highlights:
It's unknown, but here's where we go from news and speculation to biblical prophecy. In the great battle described in Ezekiel 38-39, Israel's enemies come primarily from the north. It's possible that the Antichrist will broker a peace between Israel and its enemies before Iran uses their nukes. Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia lie between Israel and Iran; it would unwise for Iran to cover Saudi Arabia (or Egypt, for that matter) with nuclear fallout. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied that it has nuclear weapons — is Iran willing to take that chance? The End Times prophecies regarding wars in and around Israel mention armies, not necessarily faceless, bloodless nuclear weapons. That doesn't preclude a suitcase bomb, but an ICBM is less likely.
What does this mean for Israel? What does it mean for Israel's allies? How should Christians respond?
First of all, don't freak out. Be anxious for nothing. Remember that God's in control. He knows what will happen, and He's already got a plan for it. Conspiracy theories are useless. Panic is useless. Flying into a rage whenever Iran refuses to abide by the agreement is useless. Picking apart the JCPOA is an interesting intellectual exercise, but pointing fingers and angrily casting blame is useless.

The key points of the JCPOA are as follows:
- Reduction of Iran's stockpile of low-enriched uranium by 98%
- Immediate shut-down and storage of 2/3 of the centrifuges used to enrich uranium
- No production or acquisition of highly-enriched uranium or plutonium for at least 15 years
- 8-year restriction of missile production/acquisition
- 5-year embargo of conventional weapons, which may be decreased upon Iran's compliance with the nuclear restrictions
- Development of a "road map" to discuss Iran's future nuclear program
- Conversion of the Fordow uranium enrichment plant to a research only facility; redesign of the Arak heavy water plant to preclude the production of weapons-grade plutonium
- Inspectors allowed access to suspicious sites within 24 days of request
- Sanctions can be "snapped-back" upon evidence of Iran "cheating" in specific areas of the agreement
- Release of $100-150 billion dollars of frozen Iranian funds upon compliance

Here are some of my favorite highlights:
- Iran refusing inspectors access to Parchin nuclear base in 2014 because inspectors had been there in 2005 and found nothing.
- The Iranian Foreign Minister offering to mediate talks between Obama and the Republican congressmen who sent a threatening letter directly to Iran.
- The US Defense Secretary pointing out that one way to ensure Iran's secret underground nuclear facility adheres to the agreement is to melt it with a bunker-buster bomb.
- Everyone acting surprised when it's discovered Israel has been using the surveillance equipment the US provided to them to listen in on P5+1 talks.
- Senior Iranian negotiator Abbas Araghchi waiting a whole 8 days after the JCPOA was signed before agreeing with the Ayatollah that Iran doesn't have to comply with the conventional weapons embargo or the nuclear site inspections.
It's unknown, but here's where we go from news and speculation to biblical prophecy. In the great battle described in Ezekiel 38-39, Israel's enemies come primarily from the north. There are three things we can do:
- Support Israel. Use whatever political clout we have as Bible-believing individuals to encourage the US government to support and protect Israel.
- Pray. Pray for cool heads and open borders that let the Gospel in. Pray that individuals in Iran will meet Christ. Pray for another Stuxnet and that Iranian officials will actually get distracted from nuclear research. Pray that UN officials will have wisdom and the fortitude to restore sanctions if need-be.
- Be at peace. God brings the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). According to the world, we should be beside ourselves with worry about Iran. But God's not surprised.
Christ is the Prince of Peace, and if He does not reign on the earth, we should at least prove He reigns in our hearts.

Donna Wasson: “Got Peace?”
Donna Wasson and I have never met (yet), but we’ve corresponded a few times on each other’s Rapture-Ready contributions, and found we have some things in common. I call “Dee-Dubya” my brain-twin sister because so often she expresses just so precisely what I’m feeling. I think most of her fans feel that way. We have nursing in common, and both have sons we named Benjamin, and we’re about the same age.
I think that the Lord is doing us a favor in letting us glimpse what is coming over the horizon, and in sending frustrations and obstacles into our way for the express purpose of wringing every last drop of love for this world out of our hearts. Our Great Physician knows what is in our best interest, and Nurse Donna’s prescription is exactly right. Prayer and time with Him and in His Word are the medicine we cannot afford to do without in the days left.
Donna’s articles are on The Article Factory, Faith Writers, E-zine, and lot of other sites, she contributes weekly to RR, and I am one of her biggest fans! When I saw this one, it was like she wrote straight from my own heart. So I just wanted to share this one with you all. –S.T. Lloyd
♠
Got Peace?
By Donna Wasson
So tell me, is the chaos getting to you yet? Are you feeling hard
pressed from all sides by the rising threats you see and hear in the
news? Do you sense the spiritual atmosphere around you crackling with an
exponential increase of evil? Can you feel your blood pressure rising?
Are you suffering from an increase in headaches or sleeplessness? Do you
carry a sense of foreboding; that doom and death is just around the
corner, waiting to pounce on you and your family?
If you have no idea what I’m talking about and you’re mindlessly
bouncing through each day, under the impression you have the world by
the tail on a downhill drag and everything is going your way, well
skippy-dee-do-dah for you. You’re completely hopeless and unconscious.
At least you’ll die happy.
The rest of us find ourselves being squeezed by increasing pain and
distress. In some ways, that’s a good sign! It means we’re very, very
close to the end of this Age of Grace. Almighty God is about to manifest
Himself in a most impressive show of power to the inhabitants of this
world. Although we who are the Bride of Christ are under great pressure
at the moment, we’re not alone. The planet and critters are in distress
just as we are.
“For
the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation
of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not
willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of
corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know
that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until
now.” Romans 8:19-22 (KJV)
Poor creation. We really made a mess of everything, didn’t we! God put
this perfect planet and everything on it under the dominion of Adam and
when he and Eve chose to sin, the earth and all the animals on it were
cursed as well. How sad for them. They were completely innocent, yet
were swept up in the results of stupid humans introducing death into
their existence.
I don’t know about you, but I need a vacation. Not just a few days at
the beach or some theme park; no, a REAL vacation where I can put down
all of my responsibilities, burdens and concerns and just rest. I need
to retreat into a place that is cool and quiet and beautiful, where I
can sit in silence and be refreshed.
I’m bone weary mentally, emotionally and physically. Some days I feel
about 92 years old, barely able or willing to get out of bed to face
another day filled with the endless drudgery of life. I’m tired of
hearing the words ‘terrorism’ and ‘ISIS’ every other minute. I’m tired
of reading of the outrageous Machiavellian machinations of the
luciferians running our government in their rabid quest to destroy this
country and the American people.
I fight the despair brought on by the constant overload of information
from smart phones, TV, radio and on-line communications and news feeds.
Sometimes I have to ponder whether ignorance really would be bliss, but I
have a responsibility from God to shout out warnings of what I see
coming on the not-too-distant horizon.
I say despair because I see my beloved homeland wallowing in filth,
corruption, lies and evil and there’s nothing I can do to stop it. I’m
stuck between wanting to fight what I know is a losing battle, and
accepting what’s happening is God’s will, which is moving us closer to
home.
Yes, you can throw in a bag, load the kids in the car and take off for
parts unknown, but you’ll still have to return home to the same ‘ol
pressures and uncertain future. You might feel a little respite but it
won’t really help much. The Bride is tired, and I’m positive our Groom
is well aware of that fact.
There’s a sense of battle fatigue with many who are just plain fed up,
weary of all the threats, cruelty, disappointments and lies we face
every single day. But there’s no place to run…or is there?
Until we get home to heaven where we’ll rest forever, the Lord offers
to be our Shepherd; to lead us into a lovely sun-lit valley that is
quiet and safe. He wants us to lie down in the lush grass, drink in
safety at the cool, clean streams of the River of Life and catch our
breath while He watches over us. But how do we get there? How do we tap
into that level of serenity amidst the chaos that is spinning around us?
Two words: prayer closet. Unless we discipline ourselves to literally
shut ourselves away to spend time alone with the Lord every day, we will
not make it. We’re living in the most treacherous times in world
history. No other generation has ever faced the constant threat of war,
disease, terror attacks, economic failure, FEMA camps, government
tyranny, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, droughts, tornadoes,
food/water shortages, and even possible asteroid strikes.
ALL of these things are either happening now, or will happen shortly as
Bible prophecy continues to play out. There’s nowhere to run, folks.
Nowhere to hide. No shelter to be found, except in the arms of our
Heavenly Father.
Spending time alone with Him, pouring out our sorrows, concerns, needs
and fears is precisely what He wants us to do. He loves and adores us
and remembers that we are just dust with a very limited understanding of
His ways and thoughts. Not only is He in sovereign control of every
event that’s happening on this earth, He knows each one of us, down to
the number of hairs on our head!
He’s well aware of our individual circumstances and has promised to
meet our every need. He’ll give you comfort in these days, as well as a
supernatural sense of peace and tranquility that will stand out like a
sore thumb to your friends and neighbors when all hell breaks loose
around you.
Jesus Himself promised “Peace
I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth,
give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be
afraid.” John 14:27 (KJV)
When you spend time in His presence this peace, HIS peace, will infuse
your heart and mind. It won’t matter what’s happening on the news or who
is blowing up whom. It won’t matter that natural disasters are
exploding all over the earth. Terror attacks, even in this country, will
not shake your faith that your Heavenly Daddy has you in the palm of
His hand. You’ll be able to face the last seconds of this age with grace
and dignity. You’ll even be able to sleep peacefully, knowing angels
are watching over you and your family.
The Holy Spirit will open your eyes to discern the difference between
truth and lies. He will give you wisdom to know what you need to do and
when to do it. You absolutely MUST have this guidance in the days to
come! Don’t be like those who ignore the Lord, yet call on His name when
some horror hits, expecting Him to come make it all better.
You know what I’m talking about. When disaster strikes you hear people
yelling “Oh my God! Oh Lord have mercy! Oh my God!” but they think
nothing of blaspheming that same name in their everyday speech. I find
it ironic no one ever calls out to allah or buddha or other gods. No,
humans instinctively call out to YWHW because they know deep in their
heart He’s the only true God capable of saving them.
These are the days to shore up your strength in the Lord by spending
time in His Word and His calming presence. Allow Him to quench your
thirst for rest and tranquility. Repent of your sins every day. Just
because we’re saved doesn’t mean we don’t still sin; He appreciates when
we apologize for our behavior and words that offend Him. Pray to stay
covered by blood of Jesus for protection from the enemy. Be obedient to
His commandments to love Him first, and others as much as yourself.
You can sense as well as I can that America is about to suffer
judgment. Cuddle close to your Heavenly Father and stay under His wing.
He does not punish the righteous with the wicked, but I’m quite sure
we’ll see horrible events before we’re snatched home. When we face those
things with peace and confidence in front of our friends and neighbors
who are freaking out, they’ll run to us looking for answers.
It’ll be the perfect opportunity to offer them hope; to gather the
final harvest of souls before we’re all snatched home. Be ready to work
in His fields. Don’t let Him come back and find you lazy and
self-absorbed. He’s counting on you to help bring in the lost little
sheeple. Prepare now. Spend time alone with Him every day and store up
rest, peace and strength while things are relatively quiet.
Terrible events are going to hit the fan very soon and it’s gonna be
uglier than you can imagine, but hang in there—it will all be worth it. “For
I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be
compared with the glory with shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18 (KJV)
“For
since the beginning of the world, men have not heard, nor perceived by
the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath
prepared for him that waiteth for Him.” Isaiah 64:4 (KJV)
Whoohoo! Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

Obama Met With Ferguson Activists – Said He’s Concerned They “Stay on Course”
President Obama met with Ferguson protest leaders on November 5th, the day after the midterm elections. The meeting was not on his daily schedule. He was concerned that the protesters “stay on course.”What does that mean?
And why is the president meeting with the violent Mike Brown protesters before a verdict is reached in the court case? MORE

S.T. Lloyd Commentary:
Generally, if I am late (in the day or week)
getting online and catching up on the latest news, I may or may not run
a post on certain “big stories” if they are already posted on most
blogs or news sites of similar content, simply because I assume readers
have seen them elsewhere by then. It’s been a busy week for me, and
seemingly, despite the midterms, sort of a quiet news week. The most
significant stories in my opinion, though, were the Muslim prayer on the
House floor for opening of the congressional session, (though it is not
as if that is the first time it has happened), and the Friday prayer
session which took place at the National Cathedral Friday. This is like
sitting at the bedside of a loved one on “death watch”. There are
always those who remain in denial right up until the last gasp.
The other big “story” (though the only
surprising thing about the story itself, is that people are surprised!)
as to Obama’s carrying on as if he didn’t just receive the most
resounding vote of “no confidence” that ever occurred in the history of
this nation.
Really he is the epitome of the humanistic
mindset. “Your reality is what you choose to be true”. Humanists call
that “self actualization”. Sane people call it delusion. You can never
appeal to a delusional person on the basis of logic. I’m just not sure
who is more deluded; the President, or those who voted for him
that feel he has let them down. It is kind of like the unfaithful
husband who gets into an affair with a married woman, and then is
surprised when the new relationship, built solely upon the shifting
sands of self-centered duplicity, doesn’t hold together any better than
the first.
The election can’t change anything. America
sprang from a revolution. But the cause from which the revolution was
ignited, a strong desire to freely worship God, does no longer drive
this nation. For the most part, what drives those running and ruling
this nation, is anything but! I think there are a great number of
individuals that still hold dear, the founding principles, but the
nation itself has been hijacked.
The same goes for “the church”!
For decades now, the professing
Christian church has ceased being an “infirmary” where terminally ill
are rescued from certain death, into some sort of
resort-spa-self-improvement camp where people go to self-optimize.
This story from Before It’s News,
and the accompanying video, epitomizes how, and to what (extreme)
degree, the true Bride of Christ has been “driven underground” while
what poses as the “Christian Church” has been entirely
possessed by an entirely different (imposter) entity altogether.
This
is certainly not only in America. These same “churches” have continued
to send missionaries across the globe peddling this new “gospel”. The
“preachers” in this new “improved” version of church clearly disdain
sound doctrine and the Jesus of the Holy Bible, and ultimately a
Sovereign God. They are not interested in seeing anyone get saved.
They are looking for people who cling to the misguided belief that they
are capable of goodness and holiness in and of themselves.
It goes without saying that things are lined
up for the arrival of the Antichrist on the world stage. All that is
lacking is the “sudden destruction” of I Thessalonians 5:3.
