“A BATTERED REED HE WILL NOT BREAK OFF, AND A SMOLDERING WICK HE WILL NOT PUT OUT, UNTIL HE LEADS JUSTICE TO VICTORY. Isaiah 42:3 and Matthew 12:20.

This scripture is very dear to me.

It reminds me of an experience that happened some years ago around 1995. A neighbor used to come to my house about once a week to ask for prayer and encouragement.

She had a very traumatic childhood, rape repeatedly by a step father, didn´t know how to read, had gained a lot of weight, didn´t do well at school, didn´t know how to read or write (she was in her mid-twenties) when I knew her.

She was a poor afflicted soul, who was on medication for a number of ailments and chronic depression. But she was sweet tender soul who loved the Lord and grateful in spite of all her life of suffering. She was also married to a wonderful, good husband who loved the Lord and loved her and took good care of her and their children.

One morning she came to talk to us as was her custom. After a chat, I wanted to pray.

You know by now that I am not a prophet, nor claim to be. At some rare times during my life the Lord in his mercy has seen it fit to show me some things, mostly for the benefit of others, insights for understanding and direction and at times to simply help or warn me or others of a dangerous, even life threatening situation.

So as I was praying and asking the Lord to show me in his Word how to minister and comfort her, suddenly I saw in my mind´s eye a candle barely burning about to be snuffed out by the movement of the air around it. I felt bad, but waited in silence to see what would happen next. Then, a hand came into view in front of the candle with a glass chimney for an old fashioned kerosene lamp and protected the weak flame from being extinguished.

Then I knew what to pray. Of course this verse came back to me and I described the scene to her explaining that the Lord was going to keep her from getting worse, that he loved her and protected her and gave her the verse. After the prayer, her whole countenance had changed, her smile came back and her face was glowing.

This picture is very similar to the holder that I gave my friend.

I got up and found in the kitchen closet a small wooden frame with a mirror and a holder for a candle and of course a chimney just as I had seen.

To help her remember this divine encounter, I gave her the candle holder and the verse on a piece of paper with the date, which she put on the wall of her living room as a reminder of God´s faithfulness and blessing.

Then, as a practical illustration and memory exercise, we reenacted the scene. She lit the candle and blew on it up to the point of almost extinguishing it and then she was so happy to place the protective chimney to illustrate the verse. What a lesson it was for all of us! Those are the altars that the patriarchs of old erected in the desert as a remembrance of the goodness and the mercy of God.

Something wonderful happened to her. From that day on, she got much better, happier, her condition improved in all areas of her life. She became more confident, registered with a free reading program with a one on one tutor. Her goal was to be able to read the Bible.

One day, two years later, she announced that she had gotten her diploma and was proud to be able to show me that she could finally read the Word. What a joy and burst of thanksgiving that was as we praised the Lord loudly with tears of joy!

God is faithful and will do what he has declared and his Word will not return void but accomplish what he has sent it to do. Amen!

The Lord never ceases to amaze me how he knows exactly what we need at the precise moment we need it.

Our Proximity to the Tribulation

Futurism is when experts make educated, knowledgeable predictions about where humanity is going in the future. It is a growing and important field used by many national and transnational organizations to help give them an edge over competitors. The military is deeply involved in futurism, trying to gain an advantage over future potential enemies. Banks and hedge funds, also for similar reasons. Nation-states and governments spend substantial amounts of money in futurist-orientated research each year.  
 
Futurists examine trends and attempt to extrapolate where these trends may lead. It is a fascinating field and anybody who spends any time looking at this subject will inevitably come to the conclusion that humanity apparently stands on the brink of change; far more fundamental than any ever experienced in our collective history.

Transhumanism is one such change. The Singularity is another. Strange names of concepts that remain alien to many. These terms will soon be as commonplace to us as “tweeting” and “Facebook.”
The scale of change humanity will witness in the next one hundred years is beyond the ability of most to truly appreciate. Most assume that technological development is constant, and that it is slow. It is not constant or slow. The more advanced technology gets the faster the rate of technological development until it becomes an exponential rate of development. Technological development is advancing faster and faster each and every day. 
 
To illustrate this rate of change think of the following example. The change in technological advancement during the lifetime of a child born today, in 2015, if she was to live a full life and be able to look back to her childhood as an old woman would be the same level of change as a child today going back in time from 2015 to 1750. Such will be the amazing advances made during her short seventy year lifetime.

So where is mankind predicted to be a mere one hundred years from now?
In one hundred years time futurism predicts that mankind will have made drastic and significant advances in a whole range of fields. It will be by 2100 that mankind will have significantly improved its own human based intelligence by augmenting the human brain with Artificial Intelligence (AI). By this point AI will occupy almost every level of business, government, the military, manufacturing and service sectors.

AI, in just one hundred years time is not anticipated to be a separate entity from individual human beings. AI at this point will have been merged with humanity meaning that the human mind has been vastly expanded allowing for the opportunity to simply download vast amounts of information directly into our brains. A person could potentially learn to drive in simply a matter of seconds. Humanity and AI will be well on the way to full integration.

This significant implantation of AI into human beings will have created a trans-human race. Humans who are unwilling or unable to have these implants will be left behind in every sense, unable to comprehend the world in the same way as their “improved” brothers and sisters. This would inevitably lead to vast splits within society. 
 
By 2100-2150, terraforming on Mars is well under way and there are vast floating cities all over the oceans of the world to accommodate the increased population. Cities will commonly see immense buildings and structures more than a kilometer high and these buildings and cities are completely automated.
The military is actively using force fields and the moon is well on the way to being inhabited and settled. “Holo-deck” style environments are now a reality providing individuals wealthy enough with the opportunity to enjoy full immersion virtual reality for the first time, meaning any fantasy imaginable has now become a reality.

This period will see the first bicentenarians and antimatter power plants will be commonplace providing huge amounts of energy to supply a vast human world-wide population. Interestingly, asteroid terrorism is viewed as being possible at this time.

Beyond two hundred years into the future things get really amazing and increasingly difficult for us to conceptualize. After 2200, just two hundred years away from today, employment will be a thing of the past with the majority of citizens spending much of their time in some sort of virtual reality world.
Although the real world will still exist most will chose to spend their time on-line as a consequence of the almost god-like powers it will bring them, especially those already augmented by AI. At this point full mind uploading will be possible to a whole variety of platforms. 
  
Men and women who have been augmented, it is believed, will have become virtually immortal.
Antimatter star-ships have been developed so that the solar system can be successfully explored, but only those trans-humans appropriately augmented will be able to exploit this opportunity as only they will be intellectually and physically able to handle to demands of interstellar travel. The latter part of this period, up to 2300 AD, should witness the rapid colonization of the solar system.

Beyond this point predictions become even more amazing, if that were possible. Human beings become super humans via a combination of nanotechnology and AI. These trans-humans, compared to those living in 2000 AD, have god-like capabilities with the ability to manipulate their own DNA to suite the environment in which they find themselves; unbelievable intelligence and speed of thinking as well as amazing physical abilities, gained through enhancement. Trans-humans of this time would more resemble a super hero or video game character from today.

Mars and Venus have been terraformed and are being settled and the exploration of the rest of the galaxy through the exploitation of worm-holes is underway.
This all sounds so fantastic doesn’t it. Consider that the time frames used for the developments described above are only the same as a human being today going back in time to 1700.

Technological development is going to become an exponential one in the near future due to something called the singularity; the point at which AI becomes superior to human intelligence. When this point is reached, and it is commonly believed that it will happen any time now, human intelligence is removed from the design and development process and technological innovation and progress just gets faster and faster until progress and technological development becomes exponential.
There is, however, one flaw in all these predictions. All these predictions, even if they are based on trends that we can anticipate and technology we know will be developed, are flawed. These predictions are not going to happen.
These future technologies far exceed the technology predicted in the book of Revelation. 
 
We already have the technology necessary to fulfill the technological requirements for Revelation and the Tribulation period. If humanity were to continue along its present rate of technological development then the technology we would have in just twenty years would begin to far exceed the technology necessary for the tribulation period to occur.
We already have the technology necessary to implement a Mark of the Beast system. We just do not yet have the will to enforce it, yet.
We already have the technology necessary to restrict the buying and selling capacity of each and every human being on this earth, just not the will to enforce it.
We already have the technology required to destroy all of the earth, and we have had this capability for quite some time now.

We are now entering the time when, for the first time, it will become necessary to have a one world currency system, due to a complete systemic breakdown of our current economic systems. With this one world economic system will come a one world governing system and the necessary judicial systems to back this up. The technology for the implementation of this is already here. Indeed, do a quick Google search, the calls for a one world government are now loud and proud, with the most vocal being the current Pontiff, Francis I.
Many writers I respect are openly voicing the possibility that this man may actually be the biblical False Prophet. He is certainly fulfilling that role well up to this point.

We already have the technology necessary to be able to kill by execution the vast numbers of people martyred in the Tribulation period, and the necessary expertise to identify them, round them up, hold them and then kill them. This Christian target group is also being actively alienated in our own cultures today. This is in preparation for the final persecution to come under the Antichrist. The satanically inspired Zeitgeist of the age, the spirit of the age, is positioning the general public’s consciousness, readying them for the horrific persecution that will soon come.

We have the technology necessary for the kings and rulers of the earth to flee deep in the caves of the earth to “hide themselves from the face of the Lamb” (Revelation 6:16) It has even become common knowledge that our governments and elites are actually moving vital equipment and stores deep into these deep mountain bases right now.
We have the technology necessary to destroy our atmosphere so that, “the skies were rolled up like a scroll…” (Revelation 6:14). When the Large Hadron Collider comes to full power in mid-September the magnetic field it will produce will be 100,000 times stronger than the earth’s magnetic field. (The Earth’s magnetic field shields us from harmful solar radiation, without this magnetic shield our atmosphere would be completely destroyed) Scientists at CERN openly admit they have “no idea” what effect this will have on the Earth’s magnetic field.

We have the necessary technology for “every eye to see Him,” (Revelation 1:7). Equally, we have the technology now for the whole world to witness the preaching of the Two Witnesses and for the whole world to see the Beast confront them and kill them, and then leave them lying in the streets, whilst the whole world looks on in celebration.

For two thousand years believers looked at these prophecies and wondered how? Now we look at them and wonder, when?
The technology revealed in Revelation is the technology of 2015. It is not the technology of circa 2040.
The Tribulation isn’t going to be in twenty years time. The Tribulation is going to be soon. Really soon.

Jesus must literally be standing right at the door.

Hillsong Church in New York City attracts over 7,000 energized worshippers every week. It’s pastor, Carl Lentz, has a half-shaved head, ripped jeans, is covered with tattoos and draws a celebrity audience of people like Justin Beiber and NBA star Kevin Durant. When it comes to the topic of same-sex marriage, however, their official position is shrouded in half-answers and obfuscation. But one thing is quite clear: they allow an openly and unrepentantly gay couple to lead their choir.

Meet your Hillsong NYC church choir leaders Josh Canfield and Reed Kelly.

As seen above, Josh Canfield and Reed Kelly, are a proudly-out homosexual couple who preach the gospel of the LGBT Agenda. They became “engaged” last year and are planning a “wedding” for sometime in 2016. They feel no conviction of any kind for the lifestyle they lead, and yet, shockingly, they are allowed to lead the worship choir during church services. Pastor Lentz, when asked about homosexuality, had this to say:

“Jesus was in the thick of an era where homosexuality, just like it is today, was widely prevalent.  And I’m still waiting for someone show me the quote where Jesus addressed it on the record in front of people.  You won’t find it because he never did,” he said.

Well, if Pastor Lentz would turn down the Marshall stacks on his platform and open his Bible, he would find exactly where Jesus condemned homosexuality. All through Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus preached an adherence to the Law of Moses, as we see here:
“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 5:18 (KJV)
And what does that same Law that Jesus commanded be kept have to say about homosexuality? Read it for yourself, Pastor Lentz:
“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” Leviticus 20:13 (KJV)

That God is against homosexuality is a theme that is repeated three times in the New Testament as well, so even the most least-read Bible student should be able piece together what the Bible’s ultra-clear stand on homosexuality might be. But this seems to be a feat unable to be accomplished within the Hillsong theology circles.
“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:14-16 (KJV)

But an inability to understand Scripture is not the problem with Hillsong Church, in New York City, in Australia, or around the world. The problem is money. The Hillsong Church global corporation is a multi-million dollar cash cow that provides an opulent lifestyle for all it’s leaders. And the millions of dollars that now flow in from parishioners would come to a grinding halt if they ever started preaching Bible truth. The only reason why thousands line up to attend their services is because there is no conviction of sin, no preaching about Biblical righteousness, no hard truths from the Scriptures. What they get is a “christian” rock concert with strobe lights and massive video displays, so that the people who were out in the clubs the night before will feel right at home.

Personally, I believe that a true Bible church should be reaching out to the homosexual community as it would reach out to any other people group who are in need of salvation. But as a pastor, when homosexuals attend your church, you have a sacred, sworn obligation to tell them that what they are doing is a sin that needs to be repented of. Failure to do so will result in the blood of these people, spiritually, being on your hands, and you will give an account at the Judgment Seat of Christ for why you didn’t preach the truth to them when you had the opportunity to do it.

Even as more information becomes available that Professional Politicians, on both sides of the aisle, have accepted huge donations from Government-Funded Planned Parenthood, the Main Stream Media and these same Politicians feverishly attempt to come up with new things that they can say about the untimely passing of Cecil the Lion.

Unfortunately for them, the fact that Americans are disgusted and horrified that Planned Parenthood has been selling aborted babies’ body parts, will not go away.

David Daleiden, head of the pro-life group Center for Medical Progress, alleges that StemExpress — a biotechnology company that sells aborted baby organs for tens of thousands of dollars — is trying to use the courts to block the release of future undercover videos because they might reveal “evidence of born alive infants.”

"In a meeting with their top leadership they [StemExpress] admitted they sometimes get fully intact fetuses shipped to their laboratory from the abortion clinics they work with, and that could be prima facie evidence of born alive infants,” Daleiden asserted on CNN Friday.

California-based StemExpress is “very scared,” he said, about seeing the next undercover videos released to the public because they might reveal illegal partial-birth abortions are being carried out to obtain intact tissue and organs for research.

In 2003, then President George W. Bush signed a law banning partial-birth abortion which was subsequently upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court. Some late-term abortionists have been using a chemical called digoxin to stop babies’ hearts to deliver intact deceased babies.

Earlier this week, StemExpress was successful in receiving a temporary restraining order against the Center of Medical Progress, thus barring the release of undercover footage showing top level staff in a May 2014 meeting.
Daleiden told CNN Friday that Planned Parenthood has not responded or disputed facts revealed in the first video that their abortionists are altering procedures to gain more intact “specimens” by moving babies to the breech-birth position.
While Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards and other top level staff have consistently stated their abortion business hasn’t broken any state or federal laws and they do not profit from the harvesting of babies’ tissue and organs, a former Planned Parenthood director has said these claims are false.
During an interview with The Christian Post, Abby Johnson, who worked as a Planned Parenthood clinic director in Texas for eight years, said the nation’s top abortion provider is making a profit of $100 to $200 off each baby’s recoverable tissue and organs they sell.
“Shipping only costs a clinic $4 to $10 but they are sometimes charging $100 to $200 for each baby,” Johnson told CP. “They are charging additional fees, but in reality there are no additional fees except for minimal shipping costs.”
“There is definitely money to be made and that’s an issue with the current law. If there’s a loophole, Planned Parenthood will blow through it,” she asserted.

The Hill reported on Friday that the National Abortion Federation is asking California’s courts to block all of the unreleased footage, not just the video clips showing StemExpress employees.
House lawmakers left Washington, D.C. for summer recess without voting on a bill to stop giving Planned Parenthood the over $500 million it receives in taxpayer funding every year. The Senate is expected to vote on on a similar measure, but will fail if it can’t obtain the minimum 60 votes required.
President Obama has said he will veto any bill passed by lawmakers to defund Planned Parenthood.

History has shown us that, no matter how hard a politician tries to hide the nature of their heart and soul, eventually, they will say something to reveal it.
In a speech, given in April, at a Women’s Summit, Democratic Presidential Hopeful, Hillary Rodham Clinton, did just that.
Breitbart.com reported that

“Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth. All the laws we’ve passed don’t count for much if they’re not enforced,” Hillary Clinton said at the Women in the World Summit on Thursday night. “Rights have to exist in practice, not just on paper.  Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.”

Clinton made it emphatically clear she’s not just talking about, say, the horrific abuse of women by Islamist extremists: “As I have said, and as I believe, the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies is the great unfinished business of the 21st century, and not just for women but for everyone… and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.” She pointed at the very ground she was standing upon, to emphasize the point.

As an aside, that has to be one of the strangest, clunkiest rhetorical devices I’ve ever heard: “As I have said, and as I believe…” Granted, with politicians in general and Clintons in particular, a disclaimer that what they’re saying really is what they believe is often necessary, but there’s no particular reason to believe such a disclaimer when Hillary Clinton delivers it.  If she really believed everything she was saying at this Women in the World Summit, why was she happy to rake in millions of dollars from countries that treat women horribly?

Quibbles about odd rhetorical devices aside, this vow to use government force to rewrite religious belief and make it more contraception- and abortion-friendly is deeply offensive, and par for the course with true believers in the Church of the State, as both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are. Clinton has been at it much longer. Back in the Nineties, she was high on the notion of the collectivist State as a spiritual vehicle – the “politics of meaning,” as the catch phrase went.

The difference is that Obama will occasionally use Christian symbolism and Scripture to advance his political agenda, as when he insists that charity can only be properly administered by the State, and Christians are therefore obliged to support high taxes, massive government spending, and regulatory power. Obama is also big on using Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” against Christians, as when he tried to shame them out of criticizing his foreign policy by pontificating about the Crusades.

Clinton, on the other hand, more explicitly views politics as absorbing religion, as in this example. Her Church of the State has made certain decrees concerning mandatory payment for other peoples’ contraceptives and unrestricted abortion; any organized religion that resists must be forcibly re-written to accept these judgments.

Unlike Obama, Hillary isn’t much interested in pretending to be a devout Christian. In this speech, she’s creating a continuum between Taliban savages murdering girls for daring to go to school, and American Christians who don’t want to pay for other peoples’ abortifacient drugs.  Genital mutilation, opposition to late-term abortion… it’s all the same to her. Religions must be reprogrammed until they’re fully compatible with the latest version of radical-feminist code.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that a Far Left Radical Follower of Saul Alinsky, like Hillary Rodham Clinton, should feel this way.
Hillary, like Obama, sincerely believes that she is the smartest person in any room that she happens to walk into.
There is no room in her ego-filled heart and mind, for a Supreme Being. Hillary, herself, believes that she is the sole arbiter of Right and Wrong in her life.
Have you ever tried to have a discussion with an ardent  pro-abortion supporter, either on Facebook or face-to-face? You won’t hear these “Champions of Tolerance” call those innocent lives, babies, human beings, a life, a soul, a gift from God, or anything remotely resembling something that they should feel remorse about killing.

Heck, Pro-Abortionists are opposed to the taking of sonograms of the woman’s womb, before she has a abortion. They’re afraid that the “seed-carrier” will realize that IS a HUMAN BEING inside her, and will decide not to kill that baby.
Here are some thoughts from The Book provided by The Author of Life…the Lion of Judah:

Did not He who made me in the womb make him, And the same one fashion us in the womb? (Job 31:15)

Yet Thou art He who didst bring me forth from the womb; Thou didst make me trust when upon my mother’s breasts. Upon Thee I was cast from birth; Thou hast been my God from my mother’s womb. (Psalm 22:9-10)

For Thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Thy works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from Thee, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth. Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Thy book they were all written, The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. (Psalm 139:13-16)

Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you, `Do not fear, O Jacob My servant; And you Jeshurun whom I have chosen. (Isaiah 44:2)

Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, “I, the LORD, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself, And spreading out the earth all alone, (Isaiah 44:24)
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
Why,  even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not;  you are of more value than many sparrows.”(Luke 12:7 )

From the scientific perspective, Dr. Carlo Bellieni, in his book “Dawn of the I: Pain, Memory, Desire, Dream of the Fetus,” writes:

As soon as it is born, the child shows in a scientifically demonstrable way that it recognizes its mother’s voice and distinguishes it from that of a stranger. Where has he learned that voice other than in the maternal womb?
There are also direct proofs. For example, we register how the movements and cardiac frequency of the fetus vary if we transmit unexpected sounds through the uterine wall. And we see that at first the fetus is startled, then it gets used to it, just like we do when we hear something that does not interest us.
In fact, the scientific evidence is immense. We cannot understand how it can be thought that it becomes a person at a certain point, perhaps when coming out of the uterus.

From the physical point of view, at the birth very little really changes: Air enters the lungs, the arrival of blood from the placenta is interrupted, the type of circulation of blood in the heart changes, and not much more.
As I often say, only blind faith in magic arts or some strange divinity can lead one to think that there is a “human” quality leap at a given moment — certainly not science.

I know that there are some of you that read my blog that are non-believers.  For you and for my Christian brothers and sisters, I offer the following closing thoughts:
There is a curious unique enzyme found in the human body.   Laminin is defined by the Webster Medical Dictionary as a “glycoprotein that is a component of connective tissue basement membrane and that promotes cell adhesion.”  In other words, a glue within the body.

Colossians 1:15-17 tells us:

¹⁵ He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. ¹⁶For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. ¹⁷And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

I believe that our nation and our leaders should realize that you cannot mock God. With actions come consequences. You know, that “cause and effect” thingy that “the Smartest people in the Room” are so found of bringing up.

Each and every life is precious to The Creator. That baby growing in her womb, is not the property of the mother. Each and every one of us belong to the One who made us. He is our Sovereign Lord.

Former Abortion Clinic Owner: We Pushed Sex Ed on Kids to Create a Market for Abortion

Washington DC (LiveActionNews) — For six years Carol Everett operated four abortion clinics in Texas.


As reported by The Catholic Register, Everett earned a commission for every abortion in addition to a share of the fees charged by each clinic. She says she sold abortion and made big bucks off of the “cash cow” of abortion. A new abortion clinic, she said at the annual Rose Dinner for the National March for Life in Ottawa, would make enough money to pay for itself in a single month.
 
The clinics’ system to make the quick cash was quite simple. The abortionist would move from one room to the next, performing abortion after abortion, often without cleaning up between abortions, according to Everett.
In addition, Everett said that the counselors at the clinics are more like telemarketers. They are trained to schedule abortions and use wording to eliminate a potential clients’ fears and objections concerning abortion.]

Everett, who left the abortion industry after a Christian business counselor she hired lead her to Christ, also talked about how damaging government-funded sex education programs are. In her speech at the Rose Dinner, she took aim at the programs for stealing away the innate modesty of children and creating a rift between children and their parents. She says that the programs aim to teach children that talking to their parents about sex is uncomfortable and then they offer to be the people the children turn to for support. She says that girls are then provided with low dose birth control, which is ineffective if not taken at the same time each and every day, which is close to impossible for any teenager. When the girls get pregnant, they then turn to abortion clinics, she says.

Once Everett admitted to herself that she was a “baby-killing” and “woman-killing woman” she finally noticed the harm she and her abortion clinics were doing for a quick buck. For the first time, she took notice of the “girls sitting in the corner crying” at the clinic. She saw how her own abortion had lead her down this path of pain. She turned away from the industry and started a foundation to help women and girls facing crisis pregnancies.


Everett credited the closing of 28 abortion clinics in Texas to God and she believes that new legislation will lead to more closings and more lives saved. Without the money from abortions, these clinics that claim to exist to help women, will close. Something all pro-lifers look forward to.

Q. I know the Bible says that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. But why does Jesus say in Matt 7:14 “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”  Is it pertaining to faith?

A. While it is true that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13), it’s clear that no where near everyone has done so. In fact the Lord’s statement in Matt. 7:14 indicates that the number of people saved is a relatively small percentage of Earth’s total population.

In addition to those who reject the Gospel outright, many others have been distracted and misled onto the wrong road by false religions, false teachers and false doctrine that change the straight and narrow intent of Scripture.

For example, just within “Christianity” some of these doctrines teach that Jesus is not really the only way to salvation, or that Jesus wasn’t really God in the flesh, or that you don’t really need to be born again, or that his death didn’t really cover all of your sins so you have to work to finish the job yourself. The list of things man has done to distort the Gospel message is nearly endless.
The straight and narrow way is clearly laid out in John 6:28-29. When the people asked Him what work God requires of us, Jesus said, “The work of God is this; to believe in the one He has sent.”

This means we must accept the fact that we’re sinners in need of a savior, and believe that Jesus came to die for our sins and rose again, proving that His death was sufficient to purchase our pardon. Anything that adds to or subtracts from that simple statement can cause people to miss the straight and narrow way.
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame’ “ (Romans 10:9-11).

For nearly the past 6 years, we here at NTEB have been telling you that the New World Order has a 3-step plan for us regarding technology. Step 1 was to get us in front of computers, that began in 1994. Step 2 was to get technology on us, that began in 2007 with the launch of the iPhone. Step 3 is to get the technology inside us via implantable devices, and that is about to be released in just a few months.

Forbes reports today that the movement into an era of implantables is already in full swing with wearables and attachables like FitBit. These are just the first generation of gadgets that go beyond monitoring and measuring your body movements. Startups like Thync are pushing the envelope with their neurosignaling patch that uses low voltage electrical currents to alter a person’s mood and energy.

News of Google GOOGL -1.01%’s smart contact lens has the tech industry excited to see how they might monitor a person’s glucose levels or other vital signs with the technology. And these are just the daily applications. Developments in the world of healthcare are reaching new heights. Some devices are not only preventative, they can also improve conditions and even save lives. A startup out of Sylmar, California has developed a bionic eye, or retinal implant that allows the blind to see. 

Companies like Proteus Digital Health are working on implantable “smart pills.” These smart pills work with Bluetooth to inform doctors and family members if a patient has taken his or her medicine. The problem of adherence – patients not taking their medicine as prescribed – costs the country nearly $300 billion annually, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Smart pills could help save lives, but they could also save money. That’s smart business. And it’s only the beginning.

The Internet of Everything is the New Economy

Humanity has been groomed long enough that we are now ready to accept a future where our lives will be run by implantable, computer-enabled devices living inside our bodies and connecting us to the Internet of Everything. By the time that the Antichrist shows up, people will already be used to buying and selling with the internal microchips inside their bodies.

If the mercury heads north of 70F in Britain, the nation tends to go 'summer crazy' and breaks out the budgie smugglers, sandals and shorts.

But spare a thought for residents in the city of Bandar Mahshahr, south-west Iran, where 'hot' has taken on a whole new meaning.

Today, it reached a super-sweltering 165F (74C) on the heat index (or 'feel-like' temperature), taking into account humidity - making it one of the highest temperatures ever recorded.

Bandar Mahshahr's air temperature registered 115F (46C) coupled with a dew point temperature of 90F (32C) at 4.30pm local time.

'That was one of the most incredible temperature observations I have ever seen and it is one of the most extreme readings ever in the world,' said AccuWeather meteorologist Anthony Sagliani. 

The city, which has a population of more than 200,000, is the capital of Iran's Mahshahr County in the Khuzestan Province.

Residents had to endure a similarly stifling heat yesterday too, as the heat index climbed to 159f (70C) - and the forecast for the next few days gives little hope of respite.

The extreme weather has been triggered by a high pressure ridge - or 'heat dome' - over not just the Persian Gulf but the Middle East generally.

The highest known heat index ever attained was 178F (81C) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia on July 8, 2003. 

WHAT IS HEAT INDEX? 

The heat index combines the air temperature with the relative humidity in an attempt to determine a human-perceived equivalent temperature - or how hot it actually feels. 

For example, very high levels of humidity can make a 90 degree temperature feel like it's well over 100. 

Usually, the body cools itself by perspiring, which in turn evaporates and carries heat away from the body. 

However, when the relative humidity is high, the evaporation rate can be significantly reduced - and this process is compromised. 

As a result, the body has a harder time removing heat from itself, which makes it feel hotter than it actually is.

And neighbouring countries are feeling the strain as well.

In Iraq yesterday, authorities declared a mandatory four-day holiday, to begin with immediate effect.

The government has urged residents to stay out of the sun and drink plenty of water.

But chronic electricity and water cuts in Iraq and other conflict-ridden countries make heatwaves like the present one even more unbearable - particularly for the more than 14 million people displaced by violence across the region.

In the southern Iraqi city of Basra earlier this month, protesters clashed with police as they demonstrated for better power services, leaving one person dead.

Unlike other countries in the region, Iraq lacks beaches, and travel restrictions make it difficult for people to escape the sweltering heat, leaving many - even those fortunate enough to live in their homes - with limited options for cooling off.

Some swim in rivers and irrigation canals, while others spend these days in air-conditioned shopping malls.

To the south, in the similarly sweltering Gulf, residents cranked up their air conditioners, and elsewhere in the Middle East, those who could headed to the beach to escape Thursday's soaring temperatures, high even by the standards of the region.

It is not uncommon for well-off Gulf citizens to decamp with their luxury cars and servants to cooler spots such as Britain or Switzerland as temperatures rise.

Iraqi workers brave blistering heatwave in central Baghdad

The extreme weather has been triggered by a high pressure ridge - or 'heat dome' - over the Middle East

Saudi Arabia's King Salman, joined by a delegation numbering in the hundreds, is currently cooling off in the south of France.

Several Gulf states, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, mandate midday breaks when temperatures are at their highest for low-paid migrant labourers during the summer months.

But that only provides some relief as many still spend long hours working in the heat and travel to job sites on buses without air conditioning.

A Filipino migrant rights activist collapsed and later died of apparent heat stroke during a visit to his country's consulate in Dubai this week.

One of the hottest spots in the Gulf was Kuwait City, where Thursday temperatures were expected to reach 118F (48C).

The civil aviation authority's meteorological department forecast daytime conditions as 'very hot' and overnight temperatures as 'relatively hot,' with moderate winds providing little relief.
