What the Bible says about light and seed
The True Light "In him, (the Lord Jesus) was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world,…the world didn’t recognize him." John 1:4,9.
The Good Seed and the Weeds “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seeds in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away.” Matthew 13:24,25.

‘Syria is dead, Israel must prepare,’ top defense official warns
Amos Gilad says Bashar Assad’s grip on his country is failing and it has become ‘a land without rule’
By Times of Israel staff November 28, 2015, 2:49 pm 60
The nation state of Syria has
collapsed, a fact that Israel must internalize about its northern
neighbor, a senior Israeli defense official said Saturday.
“Syria
is a dead state, and Israel must understand this and prepare
accordingly,” Amos Gilad, the director of the political-security
division in the Defense Ministry and a former senior Military
Intelligence official, told a cultural event in Beersheba.
“[Syrian President Bashar] Assad’s grip on the
country is faltering, it is a land without rule,” Gilad said, according
to Army Radio.
With swathes of Syria falling into the hands
of opposition forces, including jihadist groups, Assad has increasingly
relied on support from allies Iran and the Lebanon-based terror group
Hezbollah, both sworn enemies of Israel.
During a September meeting in Moscow, Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Russian President Vladimir Putin in “no
uncertain terms” that Israel would not tolerate Tehran’s efforts to arm
its enemies in the region, and that Jerusalem has taken and will
continue to take action against any such attempts.
Netanyahu told Putin that Iran and Syria have
been providing Hezbollah with advanced weapons, thousands of which are
directed at Israeli cities. “At the same time, Iran, under the auspices
of the Syrian army, is attempting to build a second terrorist front
against us from the Golan Heights.”
The prime minister also said that Israel’s
policy is to prevent these weapons transfers “and to prevent the
creation of a terrorist front and attacks on us from the Golan Heights.”
Netanyahu came to the Kremlin to “clarify our policies, and to make
sure that there is no misunderstanding between our forces,” he said.
Russia is currently conducting air strikes in
Syria that, while ostensibly targeting the Islamic State group, have
also attacked Assad’s Western-backed foes. But a senior Israeli military official said Thursday that the Israel Air Force will still operate as normal in Syria, thanks to constant coordination between Tel Aviv and Moscow.
Unconfirmed Syrian media reports said Tuesday
that Israel carried out four airstrikes on Syrian regime and Hezbollah
positions in the area of Syria’s Qalamoun mountains on Monday night.
Seeking sanctuary
In contrast to the only two requests filed in
2010, the number of Golan Druze seeking citizenship rose to 80 so far in
2015, Channel 1 reported earlier this month.

Majdal Shams on the Golan Heights. (Tsafrir Abayov/Flash90/File)
According to the report, the majority of the
applications have been filed by Druze youths, whose connection to Syria
has likely been marred by the violence there.
The marked increase in applications could be
an indication that the community’s 45-year-long loyalty to its Syrian
homeland has become fractured by the raging war across the border.
In addition to disillusioned youth, some Golan
Heights Druze are embracing Israeli citizenship out of a fear of
widespread persecution in Syria if Assad’s regime — a government that
protected the minority group — falls, or is forced out of power.

Why Is The U.S. Arming Rebels That Eat Human Hearts And Massacre Entire Christian Villages?
Reblogged from endoftheamericandream.com
By Michael Snyder, on June 30th, 2013
Why would Barack Obama want to help al-Qaeda take over Syria? Why in the world would he want to spend hard-earned U.S. tax dollars to arm jihadist rebels that eat human hearts and massacre entire Christian villages? We have always been told that al-Qaeda is our greatest enemy in the “war on terror”. So now why are we arming them? None of this makes any sense, and the American people are certainly not behind it. In fact, polls have shown that up to 70 percent of the population is against arming the Syrian rebels.
What was the whole point of spending more than a trillion dollars on the “war on terror” if we are actually going to start helping al-Qaeda now? Even Russian President Vladimir Putin has pointed out how absurd this all is. And if these rebels are eating human organs and killing off entire Christian villages now, what do they plan to do once they take over and have full control of the Syrian government? That is a very frightening thing to consider.
If anyone still had any doubt about how stupid it would be to arm the Syrian rebels, those doubts should have been erased when a video surfaced that showed a prominent rebel fighter carving open the body of a soldier and eating his heart…
The ghastly video shows how barbaric the Syrian civil war can be.This is one of the “rebels” that we want to spend our tax dollars helping?
A man, said to be a well-known rebel fighter, carves into the body of a government soldier and cuts out his heart and liver.“I swear to God we will eat your hearts out, you soldiers of Bashar. You dogs. God is greater!” the man says. “Heroes of Baba Amr … we will take out their hearts to eat them.”He then puts the heart in his mouth and takes a bite.
Are we insane?
The truth is that “moderate” groups that plan to establish a “democracy” in Syria have been completely overwhelmed by al-Qaeda and other jihadist groups in territories that are controlled by rebels. This is something that journalists from Reuters saw very clearly during a recent trip through war-torn areas of Syria…
During a 10-day journey through rebel-held territory in Syria, Reuters journalists found that radical Islamist units are sidelining more moderate groups that do not share the Islamists’ goal of establishing a supreme religious leadership in the country. With all of the spying that the NSA is doing, you would think that this shouldn’t be too difficult to figure out. Al-Qaeda and other radical jihadists groups are running the show over there. Even the mainstream media has been openly reporting on this. The following is from a USA Today article entitled “Syrian rebels pledge loyalty to al-Qaeda“…
The moderates, often underfunded, fragmented and chaotic, appear no match for Islamist units, which include fighters from organizations designated “terrorist” by the United States.
A Syrian rebel group’s April pledge of allegiance to al-Qaeda’s replacement for Osama bin Laden suggests that the terrorist group’s influence is not waning and that it may take a greater role in the Western-backed fight to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad. These jihadists are not “tolerant” and they have no interest in “democracy”. Instead, they have already shown exactly what they plan to do once they are in power. They have been killing Christians everywhere they go, and in some cases they have wiped out entire Christian villages. For example, the following is from a news report that was posted on May 29th…
Armed rebels attacked a village in Syria’s Western province of Homs and slaughtered all its Christian residents on Monday.Should we really be arming such people?
The armed rebels affiliated to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) raided the Christian-populated al-Duvair village in Reef (outskirts of) Homs near the border with Lebanon today and massacred all its civilian residents, including women and children.
What in the world is Barack Obama thinking?
Does he actually approve of the rebels dragging kids off the street and executing them for saying things against Mohammed? Because that is what is actually happening…
15-year-old Mohammad Qataa was taken hostage by the extremist group and was then summarily executed in the northern city of Aleppo on Sunday night. Pro-opposition group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) released a photo of the boy with bullet wounds in both his face and neck.
The SOHR said witnesses claim Qataa got into an argument at a coffee stand where he worked in the Sh’ar neighborhood of Aleppo. He was overheard saying: “Even if the Prophet Mohammad comes down (from heaven), I will not become a believer.”
His words caught the attention of members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria who kidnapped Qatta. They then brought him back to the stall late on Sunday night with whiplash marks on his body. How in the world can the U.S. claim to have “moral authority” if this is the kind of people that we are backing?
According to the report published by the SOHR, one of the members of the group addressed the crowd and said: “Generous citizens of Aleppo, disbelieving in God is polytheism and cursing the prophet is polytheism. Whoever curses even once will be punished like this.”
“He then fired two bullets from an automatic rifle in view of the crowd and in front of the boy’s mother and father, and got into a car and left,” the report said.
The following is a video report from reporter Ben Swann about these rebels. Some of the things that he has uncovered are absolutely amazing…
So what is going to happen if these rebels actually take over Syria?
Well, for one thing they will immediately impose Sharia law on the entire nation. The people of Syria will be under an even more tyrannical regime than before.
Life under such a system can be incredibly cruel. For example, two girls in Pakistan were recently shot dead for dancing in the rain…
Two teenage sisters have been murdered in Pakistan after they were accused of tarnishing their family’s name by making a video of themselves dancing in the rain. Why are we spending our tax dollars to help al-Qaeda set up such a system in Syria?
The girls, aged 15 and 16, are seen running around in traditional dress with two other younger children outside their bungalow in the town of Chilas, in the northern region of Gilgit.
The sisters, named as Noor Basra and Noor Sheza, appear to break into dance and one even flashes a smile at the camera.
However, when the footage was circulated via mobile phones, it caused outrage in the conservative Pakistani town.
Last Sunday the girls were shot alongside their mother in their home by five gunmen.
It is hard to put into words how stupid this all is. Please share this article with as many people as you can. Hopefully we can help the American people to understand how foolish it is to help these rebels.

Putin will address G8 summit as head of winning Syrian war camp
DEBKAfile Special Report June 17, 2013, 11:04 AM (IDT)
Vladimir Putin at G8 summit
The light arms President Obama proposes to release for the Syrian rebels don’t give them the smallest fighting chance against the fighter-bomber jets, heavy tanks, and unlimited ordnance supplied Bashar Assad’s army by Russia and the missiles and troops coming in from Hizballah and Iran.
This unbeatable preponderance makes the fall of Aleppo and Assad’s victory a foregone conclusion.
Israel Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon, speaking in Washington over the weekend, argued that the Syrian army’s successes did not add up to a strategic victory. The Russian leader will present the opposite case to which his fellows in the Group of Eight have no answer. They will therefore hammer at the only point on which they agree, the quest for a political solution of the Syrian crisis by means of an international conference, i.e., getting Geneva-2 off the ground.
Putin and Obama will therefore need to put their heads together on accepted ground rules for this event.
Although on the face of it, nothing could be more reasonable, debkafile’s Russian and Middle East sources report it is a tall order indeed, given the list of at least four pre-conditions Putin plans to put before the US President on the strength of his partners’ war successes:
1. Geneva-2 will not be convened by the US or Russia, as first agreed, but by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. This would force Washington to stay within the bounds of UN resolutions and not act as did the US and NATO in Libya to overthrow Muammar Qaddafi outside their Security Council mandate.
2. Bashar Assad must remain in power as the legitimate ruler of Syria. Russia’s sale of arms to the Syrian government in Damascus was therefore legal.
3. Iran must be given a seat at Geneva-2.
The Russian president is determined to thwart any attempt by Obama to take advantage of Hassan Rouani’s election as president of Iran to supersede the battlefield successes of Russia, Iran and Hizballah in Syria. Ayatollah Khamenei will go along with him on this.
Sunday night, Washington was evidently exploring new diplomatic ground with Tehran when Denis McDonough, White House chief of staff commented that Hassan Rouhani’s election as president of Iran was a potentially hopeful sign. “If he is interested in, as he has said in his campaign events, mending his relations… with the rest of the world – there’s the opportunity to do that.”
But then, he said: “But doing so would require Iran to come clean on its illicit nuclear program.”
This was the Obama administration’s answer to Putin’s comment Tuesday, June 11 when he said: “I have no doubt that Iran is adhering to international commitments on nuclear non-proliferation, but regional and international concerns about Tehran’s nuclear program should not be ignored,” said the Russian leader.
4. Putin has gone back on his earlier consent to a single, united delegation representing the Syrian opposition at the projected international conference. He now maintains that the rebel front is hopelessly divided and the delegation should truly represent the real situation.
This too will be a Russian attempt to frustrate Western plans for a united opposition camp to speak with one voice opposite the Assad regime, by accentuating the rifts dividing the rival Syrian opposition factions and militias.
As matters look now, Assad’s drive to recapture all of Aleppo will continue after the G8 leaders have gone home. Putin, Khamenei, Assad and Nasrallah will continue their hideous victory march and the US, West and Israel will continue to hold back from intervention that could reverse the tide.
