Note from the author: I am French born in Northern Africa in a predominantly Arab Muslim country so I grew up appreciating Israeli, Arab and a fusion of Andalusian Arab Jewish music from Algeria very similar in rhythm, melodic lines, use of quarter tones and different string and percussion instruments.
