Great
advice. In other words: " get a life" worth living. If and before you
want people to respect you,start by respecting yourself. I would add
that a lot of responsibility for our children´s behavior rests on the
parents shoulders.
BTW, Teenage-hood is a relatively new phenomenon that is not exclusively American nowadays, but started in the US as the outgrowth and the consequence of WW2 that also gave rise to modern feminism. We reap what we sow!
